## What is CIF Beach?

CIF Beach runs tournament day for Los Angeles City Section girls beach volleyball, from the first serve to the last bracket.

FOR EVERYONE
• Live scores, point by point, on every court
• Pool standings that update with every rally
• Playoff brackets that fill in as matches finish
• "If pools ended now": see the bracket before it's made
• Each school's record since the sport began in 2022: seasons, streaks, titles
• No account needed to watch

FOR PLAYERS
• A notification when your court opens and when you're up next
• Your matches and your partner in one place
• Ref from your phone: big, simple buttons that work with sand on your hands, even with weak signal
• Your season history and badges

FOR COACHES
• Claim your school with the tournament code, then share your team code or QR code
• Approve players with a tap and set your A, B and C pairs
• Send your team an announcement: "Team meeting at the tent at 8:15"

FOR PARENTS
• Follow your player with the family link they share
• Their matches, scores and "up next" alerts, without joining a roster

FOR TOURNAMENT ADMINS
• Set today's courts, mark no-shows, and make pools and brackets in one tap
• Courts reassign themselves when one goes down
• Announcements to everyone, or just players, coaches, parents or admins
• Every change is logged, with Undo

Players are students, so names and photos are visible only to people signed in to the app. Scores, schools and brackets are public, like a scoreboard at the beach.
