## What is Cimela?

Cimela is a free Pokémon set tracker and card scanner: see how close you are to finishing any set, what every card is worth right now, and track your whole collection.

SCAN IN SECONDS
• Point your camera at a card — or a whole binder page — and Cimela adds them straight to your collection.
• Can't scan? Search any card by name and add it in a tap.

KNOW WHAT YOU OWN — AND WHAT IT'S WORTH
• Live market prices for every card, with profit/loss vs. what you paid.
• Track quantity, condition, purchase price, and where each card lives.
• Your collection's total value, updated as the market moves — with your biggest gainers and losers.

COLLECT WITH PURPOSE
• Pick a goal the way real collectors do: a full set, every Charizard, an evolution line, the Eeveelutions, a favorite artist, or the chase alt-arts.
• See exactly which cards you still need — what pack each is in, and where to buy it.
• Build a custom binder by searching and tapping the cards you want.

TRADE WITH FRIENDS
• Add friends, mark cards for trade, and Cimela finds the matches — who has what you want, and wants what you have.

FIND CARD SHOWS
• Upcoming card shows across New England, with dates, hours and admission, so you know where to hunt this weekend.

YOURS, EVERYWHERE
• Free to use. Optional account syncs across devices; guest mode keeps everything on your phone.
• A shareable Recap of your collecting year.

Cimela is an independent app and is not produced by, endorsed by, supported by, or affiliated with Nintendo or The Pokémon Company. All card names and images are the property of their respective owners.

### 5/5 — Amazing app

*2026-09-01*

Very convenient for tracking all my cards best app there is for it.

**Developer response:** Thanks — glad it's earning its spot in your pocket. If there's anything you wish it did, Settings → Report a bug reaches us directly and we ship most weeks.

### 4/5 — Best app I’ve found for pokemon collection!

*2026-08-26*

I’ve been looking for an app for my pokemon collection that shows me the price, and organizes into the different sets and whatnot. I also needed something that could help me track my wooper collection. Cimela did just that! It’s very easy to navigate and the scanning feature makes putting the cards into the app super easy. I also like that it’s customizable with the color way, really making the app feel like my own. There are some bugs that need to be fixed, as some more niche cards don’t show up, but I trust that will be fixed with future updates. Overall great app!

**Developer response:** A wooper collection is exactly what custom collections were built for. If anything felt off — a scan, a price, a missing set — Settings → Report a bug goes straight to us. Thanks for the write-up.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.8.1 — 2026-09-25

• Card shows: links to a show, and the App Store's October Card Show Guide, now open right inside Cimela
• Small fixes

### 1.8 — 2026-09-25

• Instant start: Cimela shows its logo the moment you open it instead of a blank screen while it loads
• Sets open much faster, even ones nobody has opened in a while
• Picking a goal when you sign up takes you straight to the cards, and every card you tap shows how far along you are
• Search suggestions no longer push the page around while you type
• Card prices, finishes and sharing got a round of fixes from a full top-to-bottom QA pass

### 1.7.2 — 2026-09-14

A big catch-up update — here's everything new since launch:

SCAN SMARTER — scan a whole binder page at once, a sharper camera, and much better card recognition (Japanese cards too).
SELL NOW — your best cards to sell, your net after fees, the profit, and when to move them.
GOALS & COMPLETION — track a set, an artist, or a single Pokemon; see % done by rarity and what the missing cards cost.
GRADED VALUES — PSA / BGS / CGC prices right next to raw.
SEALED TRACKER — log sealed product and what you pull when you rip it.
BINDER PLANNER — lay out your physical pages.
NEARBY — card shops and shows near you.
Plus smarter search, price filters everywhere, CSV import, cloud backup, and dozens of fixes.

Founding Member status is still open — the first 1,000 people to join keep it forever (980+ spots left). Thanks for being here early. Found something off? Tell me in-app and I'll fix it fast.

### 1.7.1 — 2026-09-12

• Light theme: the status bar now matches the app (no more white-on-white clock)
• Scan results: when a card exists in more than one set, pick the set right on the result
• Every card sheet lists its other printings — tap one to switch
• Japanese cards: exact set matching on scans, correct Japanese prices, and a set list without empty entries
• Prices: live euro rate for Cardmarket values; blended prices say so
• Many smaller fixes from a full top-to-bottom QA pass

### 1.7 — 2026-09-10

• Price filter on every card list: Browse, Sets, your cards, want list and the binder picker
• Japanese cards: prices fixed, and graded PSA/CGC values shown from the matching English print
• Select mode: mark a whole selection for trade, or drop it into a binder or goal in one tap
• Nearby: local card stores, with claim-your-store for owners
• Fixes: totals update the moment a price loads; the keyboard no longer pushes the header under the status bar
• Unlimited free scans, always.
