## What is Cinemateca?

Cinemateca is a film archive for browsing movies, filmmakers, lists, screenings, awards, soundtracks, commentaries, and related cinema data.

The iPhone app opens the current Cinemateca mobile experience in a focused native shell with persistent web storage, native loading and error states, pull to refresh, and clean external-link handling.

Use it to search films and people, browse curated lists, check NYC screenings, explore awards and festivals, and follow connections across the catalog.
