But now there are tictok ads and chinese ads taking over the app. Really dont get it. Ads stop the music and must be interacted with to get back to music. The developers say its not them. Get it together Apple. ### 2/5 — Missing features *2017-10-29* UPDATE: Latest version crashes inexplicably after about 5 min. of listening to the app. I don't know if it's an iOS11.x.x. bug or the app itself. Please fix. First off, this review isn't about the music content; Cinemix's music selection is great and quite pleasing. As I use this app mostly during driving, it's not too "car user friendly" yet. I miss [for sure] the following features: *Screen lock (being able to NOT having the screen going dark). *30 seconds rewind. (For those re-buffering/-connecting moments). *Full screen current soundtrack playing (CD cover), with ample sized composer/track credits displayed. (What's up with that, in having Twitter,FB, etc. taking up almost 2/3 of the screen size?). *More music tracks being credited. (Awfully lot of music composed by the "Advert"-composer, LOL). Maybe a "car-mode" could be implemented into the App. Thank you for looking into possible design changes. ### 2/5 — Perfect station *2016-06-27, version 4.1.6* Well it was when it worked directly from iTunes. Then it became yet another vehicle for advertisements and social media. Must have been bought by a media company. ### 3/5 — Abandoned by developers? *2021-07-21, version 4.11.13* I really want to love this app. I already love the music. Jango gets it right where Cinemix stumbles. EVERY LITTLE THING pauses play. It just doesn’t know how to play in the background or resume after taking a photo, or using Amazon, or using social media. If playing thru a browser it’s better. But then why would anyone need this app? Answer: Because it should be better than browser experience. And why is becoming a VIP listener promoted when there is apparently no way to become one? ### 3/5 — Music is great but... *2020-07-16* ... this App crashes so often that it’s dangerous to listen to while driving. Yes, one could always not try to reset it when it crashes but that’s easier said than done. What happens is usually one of two things: 1) The App just simply stops playing and I get a spinning wheel with the pause button still available and I have to completely exit and restart the App or 2) The App stops playing and the play button needs to be tapped again in order to start listening again- but, sometimes the App needs to be exited/restarted completely to get it going. PLEASE look into this- running iOS 13.3 on an iPhone 7 with the newest available version of CINEMIX loaded up. It’s not working. No matter how many times I press thumbs down for a song I don’t like and don’t want to hear again, it will still play. Can this be fixed, please? What is with all of these ads all of a sudden?? If I press the pause button an add pops up, if I go to favorite an add pops up. Every little move I make on the app causes an add to pop up. This is new and annoying. Why can’t it not be about money and just let people enjoy the music! I am not going to “pay” just to have ads removed. It’s becoming so annoying that it’s almost not worth having the app anymore. Can these issues be fixed properly please?
