The lobby is the feature nobody else has
Every other movie app stops at "here's what to watch." CineMob's whole gravity is what happens after the credits. The lobby isn't a comments section, it's a room. I've made actual friends there, people I now text about films outside the app entirely. That's the part I didn't expect.
The swiping feature is elite
The way this app builds your taste profile is super fun. Instead of some algorithm guessing what genres you want based on corporate lists, it just connects you with people who vibe with the same visual style and films you do. If you want a community that actually gets cinema and skips the mainstream noise this is it.

This is the peer community I stopped believing existed
I have exactly zero interest in curated-from-above programming, I get enough of that from every membership I already pay for. What CineMob offers is an ability to screen what I want, with people who care just as much as I do, and gives me a platform to chat with everyone before, during, and after. What’s better than that? I finally found a community that values viewing on the big screen and I couldn’t be happier.
