## What is CineRadar?

CineRadar is your radar for movies and shows: find what to watch, keep track of what you want to see, and never miss a release again.

YOUR LISTS, YOUR WAY
Save what you want to watch later, mark what you've already seen, and keep your favorites close. Your lists follow you across every device.

NEVER MISS A RELEASE
Saved something that isn't out yet? CineRadar tells you on release day. And the widget shows the countdown right on your Home Screen or Lock Screen.

WHERE TO WATCH
Pick the streaming services you subscribe to and instantly see where each title is available. One tap opens the service's app, already searching for the movie.

SURPRISE ME
No idea what to watch tonight? Let the app pick — (and filter by genre, decade or minimum rating so the pick matches your mood. Available only on Apple TV)

BECAUSE YOU WATCHED
The more you mark as watched, the better the suggestions on your home screen, built from the genres you actually watch.

ON ALL YOUR DEVICES
• iPhone and iPad
• Apple Watch, with your lists on your wrist and the next release on a complication
• Apple TV, to browse on the big screen
• Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets

BUILT INTO THE SYSTEM
• iPhone search: find movies from your lists right in Spotlight
• Siri and Shortcuts: "Surprise me" or "Add to my list", by voice
• Continuity: start a movie detail on one device and pick up on another
• Share a movie with anyone, in two taps

FREE, NO ADS
CineRadar is free, with no ads and no subscription.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 3.3.0 — 2026-08-17

What's new in this version:

• Pick up where you left off: with Handoff, start a movie detail on your iPhone and continue on your iPad — or bring it from the Apple TV to your phone, no searching again.
• System search: movies from your lists now show up in iPhone search on Spotlight. Tap a result and go straight to the movie. Original titles work too.
• Lock Screen widget: your next release always in sight, without unlocking your device.
• Share a movie: a new button on the detail screen to send a movie to anyone.
• Help & support now opens a pre-filled email.

Fixes: the large widget no longer cuts off the top of the list, and the widget's configuration options show in the right language.

Enjoy the binge!!!

### 3.2.0 — 2026-08-09

CineRadar now goes on your wrist.

APPLE WATCH
• Your Watchlist and Favorites right on your watch.
• A watch face complication with the next release and its countdown.
• Mark as watched or remove from your list from the watch — your iPhone updates on its own, and the action is delivered even if the phone is out of range.

TRAILERS
• They now play in the app's language, English or Portuguese.
• No trailer available? The teaser is used instead.
• And when there's no video at all, the app tells you instead of doing nothing.

MY LIST
• The Watchlist tab shows how many movies are still waiting for you, on iPhone and Apple TV.

FIXES
• Release notifications no longer depend on opening My List first.
• Fixed an issue that could leave favorites out of the widget and watch lists.
• Actions taken on Apple TV now report when they can't be saved, instead of failing silently.

### 3.0.0 — 2026-07-29

CineRadar is now on your Apple TV!

• Native Apple TV app — browse trending movies, check details, cast and where to watch, all on the big screen.
• Code pairing: enter the code shown on your TV into your iPhone and your lists show up there, synced in real time. Save it on the TV, it updates on your iPhone — and the other way around.
• Surprise Me on the TV too, for when you just can't decide.

Improvements and fixes:

• Widget: movies premiering today now appear at the top of the list, marked "Available today!".
• Release notifications are arriving on time again, at 9 AM on release day.
• Upcoming: a new grid showing the release month and year right on the poster.
• See all: now with each title's rating, plus its position in top-rated lists.
• Settings: options are easier to tap.

### 2.1.0 — 2026-07-25

What's new in this version:

• Siri & Shortcuts: say "Surprise me" to discover a movie instantly, or "Add to my list on CineRadar" to save a title without even opening the app.
• Personalized recommendations: new "Because you watched…" rows on the home screen, based on what you've already watched.
• Configurable widget: choose which list it shows, pressing it gently — Upcoming releases, Want to watch, Favorites or Trending.
• Faster "where to watch": tap a streaming service to jump straight into its app, already searching for the movie.
• Your lists (Want to watch, Watched and Favorites) are back in alphabetical order.

Plus stability improvements and small fixes. Enjoy the binge!

### 2.0 — 2026-07-21

SMARTER SEARCH
Search now starts from the very first letter and is more accurate — titles that used to be missing (like searching just "Mortal" to find Mortal Kombat) now show up instantly.

HOME SCREEN WIDGET
Keep upcoming releases right on your iPhone home screen, with a countdown. Tap to jump straight to your list.

SMOOTHER AND MORE POLISHED
New launch screen, full-screen actor view, smoother cast scrolling, pull-to-refresh stretch effect, and various iPad layout fixes.
