Like the movies sound like I'm watching it at home on my tv, not to mention you can hear absolutely everything someone says a couple rows over because it is so low. It won’t allow me to skip seats. My family loves cinergy but the food ordering experience is always frustrating and last night was extra horrible. I couldn’t get the (very long detailed) order to checkout. It kept spinning and then would come up with an error. I ended up trying on two different kiosks before finally having to go to the front desk. Apple Pay wouldn’t work so I had to go back to my seat to get my credit card. I almost missed the first part of my movie. It sued to be so much better when you could add your food ahead of time but now you can’t do that and have to use time at the theater to try to get this awful app to work. I never can use the app to scan the QR code for tickets bc it takes too long to pull up. I always screen shot it and use the photo. The ad in the theater for the app says it does all kinds of things it doesn’t do. There’s not a help button for starters. Really frustrated with this whole thing. This one sucks, it is not intuitive at all. The biggest issue is when you’re simply trying to find seats for showtimes. If you pick a time slot and there aren’t any ideal seats, when you cancel the booking you will have to navigate all the way back to the main page. Then you must navigate all the way back to the movie and select a new time. You need a back button to go back one screen. Terrible design overall. Takes NUMEROUS time to make a purchase or you just get stuck at a loading screen ### 1/5 — Trash App *2026-01-19, version 6.2.9* This app is so terrible it is making me think less of Cinergy as a whole. 2 huge issues. 1. Elite membership (subscription) is sold in app (against Apple rules?) without being manageable in subscriptions. It use to be able to be cancelled in app, now you have to call. Shame on you. Issue 2. Likely to avoid paying Apple, food orders get processed very oddly, and you cannot see the status in app. You get a text. However, as I learned recently, that doesn’t mean they got your order. I missed most of my last movie fixing the food order I put in in advance to avoid that.
