My only gripe is that occasionally it will show movie posters in another language. I saw that this was an issue from another user a year ago and it concerns me that it’s not fixed yet. When the poster is clicked to get details it corrects itself, but once you leave the details page it reverts back to the other language. I definitely have English for my locale. However the constant small bugs is what annoys me. 1: I bought the paid access so I could unlock all the features, but I still can’t change my profile picture 2: The movie posters are majority in another language. It just doesn’t give the app a clean a slick look 3: The filters should be more expansive. For instance: in my movies I watched list, if I want to sort them by rating, it doesn’t do it by my rating, but the public’s rating of it. Thank you Kindest Regards ### 4/5 — Trakt compatible *2020-02-23, version 9.1* Update: Developers fixed one of two major issues with the TV Shows portion. Now only the TV shows in the custom lists section has bugs. It won't populate in the custom.lists if it's a TV show. Movies works flawlessly throughout the app. Updated to 4 stars. This is the only app I've found that includes your custom lists on trakt. There are some bugs with TV shows hence the three stars. Developers are responsive to feedback though and working on it. Well done! ### 5/5 — Add feature *2019-10-13, version 4.2* You should label if a show end or currently on tv ### 4/5 — Almost perfect! *2019-07-17, version 3.0* I do really love this app with one or two gripes, which I presume they already know about and will release an update to fix, but just in case. The first is a minor gripe, which is that some of the movie posters, the titles are not in English. For this I hope they can update it so that the movie posters displayed will show up for whatever default language you choose! I don’t want it to look like I think it should be in English for everyone, since I know this app is meant for international users as well. Second is that there appears to be a glitch with the language selection for the app itself. When I first downloaded it all text from the app displayed in English but I tried temporarily changing the language to see if that would help with the aforementioned movie poster issue, it did not. However, it appears to have caused another more annoying problem where at random times and in random sections of the app the language inexplicably changes between (I think) Italian and then back to English. And I can’t get it to quit doing that now. So an update to fix that would be super appreciated. Other than that I LOVE this app!!! As someone who commonly forgets if I’ve seen older movies and as someone with quite a large movie collection this will be a good way to keep track of what I already own when shopping for new movies and being able to make a custom list for what movies are being borrowed by friends to watch, so I know to ask for them back if they forget! **Developer response:** Hello XlAtari2600lX, We really thank you for your comments and don't you worry we are working really hard on the next update! Thank you again and Happy Cinetraking!!! ### 4/5 — I’m jumping in with both feet and a lot of hope! *2019-07-08* There have been few apps in the marketplace over the last few years that let you do,what Cinetrakt is doing. You can search for movies and see others ratings and if you’re special maybe you can also rate movies you’ve seen but if you’re just an average Joe there’s only Flixster which sucks ... sooooo many issues. But now there is Cinetrakt! It seems to do all the things I want it to do PLUS it has television series which in a world where binging is a thing and television has become just a long movie that is AWESOME. I’ve been moving my ratings over this past weekend. It’s gonna take a while but I haven’t had any issues finding any of my movies even the ones from ages ago. Only one minor issue that I can’t enter a comment on the app but I can on the website so I’ve got a work around and other than the fact that Flixster keeps crashing it’s all really easy! I’m hopeful that Cinetrakt is the app for me so I’m jumping in with both feet. Even after getting that straightened out I was never able to enter my info. ### 1/5 — Not Worth it... *2019-04-04* At first when I started using this app it was working and I thought it was great but then it started messing up like photos wouldn’t be there and some of the series like “American Dad” was all messed up and there was other shows like that. I used to love this app to track movies & shows and find information. Even then it wasn’t too bad but it started to not let me click on movies to add them to my watchlist. I tried deleting it and redownloading it but when I went back in I couldn’t sign in again and lost all my progress:( so yeah the apps not terrible but there are many better ones that save you the trouble, even if what happened to me doesn’t happen to you, it’s still pretty buggy. ### 3/5 — From Android to Apple *2021-10-12, version 28* This app seems like it's still in Beta compared to the android one. And also it made me pay again to be a member even though I had already signed up for the membership. But with every app I found some sort of issue, some only tracked what you watched not what you wanted to watch. Others didn’t track shows at the episode level. This did it all just as I wanted and I was so excited I updated it all day. However I found a defect recently, contacted the developer team from the app. Within a day they personally responded! There's some that just ask for stupid permissions. This one doesn't ask for anything intrusive and the system works well.
