It used to work, now it fails on every use. Having to reset the choices after EVERY TIME it is setup! And the “alarms” fail the same way, EVERY TIME! All the “updates” have destroyed a perfectly good working app. I no longer recommend Circadian for use or purchase. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t update times automatically anymore… *2026-08-03* I used to love this app but not really sure what the point is to have an app (that I pay a subscription fee for) to notify me at different times of the day… when I have to go in every day to turn off location services and turn them back on for it to update to the correct times. I may as well just google the info every day. This hasn’t worked properly for a very long time. Contacted the developers early this year and they told me a fix would be in place sometime in March. It is now August and still doesn’t work. I have done every app update. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it. Multiple times. Not renewing my subscription. I love the support and the connection with the rhythm of the natural world. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Very inaccurate *2026-04-02, version 4.0.6* Currently the app shows the sunrise at 06:11 in Brighton , UK , however all other apps indicate the sunrise at 06:32. And many other inconsistencies. ### 1/5 — Times not accurate *2026-04-01, version 4.0.6* I don’t look at Circadian every day, but today I noticed it has the wrong times for sunrise and sunset. Example: app says sunset is 7:24, while real sunset time is 7:50. I double checked the city it is set at and the date and time of day and those are all accurate. What happened??? If it doesn’t know the correct sunrise and sunset times, how can any of the other times be accurate? ### 1/5 — No choices on notifications *2026-01-20, version 4.0.5* This app used to allow a choice of which 3 notifications a day you are allowed.
