## What is Circle and Sphere Pro?

This app calculates all quantities of a sphere (body of a sphere, circle, all parts of sector and segment). Therefore you must enter some variables (like the radius of a circle and the central angle). The algorithm searches the formulas of the missing quantities, shows them and calculates the results.

Decimals and fractions are supported. The solution is shown step by step. All calculations are stored in the history. The final solution can be shared.

[ Content ]
- all important quantities for the circle and sphere calculation
- formulas for all important quantities of a sphere, circle, sector and the segment
- infographic to illustrate the topic
- search bar to find the desired quantity
- history function to save input
- detailed solution
- positive numbers, decimals and fractions are supported
- no ads!

[ Usage ]
- there are several fields for entering the values using a special keyboard
- if values are missing, all fields are highlighted in orange
- if values are oppositions (like "r = 1 and d = 3"), one affected field is highlighted in red
- every value must be positive
- maximum of alpha is 360°
- beta must be less than 90°
- if a value is no number, it is highlighted in red
- the entries in the history can be deleted or sorted manually
- if you select an entry in the history, it will be loaded automatically for the calculation
- the entire history can be deleted by pressing a button
- solutions can be shared

## Key features

- Calculates sphere and circle quantities
- Supports sectors and segments
- Shows formulas and step-by-step solutions
- Handles decimals and fractions
- Stores calculations in history
- Allows sharing of results

### 5/5 — Great Developer & app

*2024-04-18*

Works flawlessly, handy tool
Great Developer support
PS- 3rd party Google data mines everything

**Developer response:** Hello, that is a good point. Let me explain the usage of data. It is correct that we get some data, but only for monitoring.

"Location" is only about the country. Means - we see "100 users from US; 40 from France; 20 in Germany; etc.".
We provide our apps in 11 different languages. The country data help us to see where the app is used and if some problems occur that might have something to do with language localization.

Maybe that "device ID"-thing might be another scary factor. But this only shows the difference if the app was launched the first time or if users come back. This is only a pale numbers that helps us to understand if people just downloading, open once and say "yeah, remove that s*$t" or if there is a real use.

Some information help us to understand that teachers and parents are using these apps too. At first we designed the apps only for pupils. But the data are only some simple numbers too like "40% are in age of 25-35; 20% in 36-45; etc".

The rest are crashes and some things to check if the app works properly.

"Uncontrolled 3rd parties" - we use Firebase for this. In the end it is Google who is managing this, but they say they only monitor the data. That is the only information that we get.

From our point of view we only use data to improve the service. But we use a 3rd party that is connected to Google. It is up to you if you trust Google.

I hope I was able to provide some clarity. Kind regards

Ps.
Let me tell you that I nearly get the same information from my apple developer console. So yeah ... everything the same.

Thank you very much for updating your review. 🙏

### 2/5 — TOO VAGUE ON PRIVACY -ESP 3rd PARTY

*2024-04-16*

Don’t know about app performance as NOT agreeing to collection of data esp location , some to uncontrolled 3rd parties, just to perform simple math equations

### 5/5 — Change the units?

*2024-04-15*

This app is great. The only problem I have is it’s in meters. How can I make it feet or another unit? This is pointless if all we get is meters.

**Developer response:** Hello Batman2287, thanks a lot for your positive feedback! At the moment there is no option to change the units. But I will note it and check what I can do for the next updates. Kind regards

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.2.3 — 2026-08-14

The latest release 'Least common multiple' is linked in the menu section now.

Minor performance and UI fixes.

### 2.2.2 — 2026-08-04

- the status bar on top is integrated into the current app design
- the app flow was improved (pop-up information was balanced)

### 2.2.1 — 2026-07-17

Maintenance update. Improving performance.

### 2.2.0 — 2026-06-19

Bringing all apps to the same security standard. Critical storage behaviour for solutions has been fixed.

By the way - I run many apps with different math topics. If you like this one: Check them out as well!

I always do my best to keep a high standard on my apps. If something does not meet the expectations, do not hesitate to contact me.

### 2.1.10 — 2026-06-06

There were some major fixes and adjustments for a more stable behaviour of the solution storage and loading. Therefore some database changes were made in the background. There are no performance losses and the functionality does not change. The background tasks are only done once within milliseconds. Following behaviour may occur (only temporary):
- stored calculations have to be tapped twice to load fully
- the order of the stored solutions may change

If there are some losses of solutions do not hesitate to contact me and tell me the number of lost solutions + affected app. I will find a solution for this.

Kind regards, Alex (the Dev)
