I have over 5K that seemingly disappeared! Will be contacting the VP again (who helped to expedite a different issue for me months ago) if support fails to resolve this problem. ### 1/5 — Stole my funds *2019-11-13, version 1.6.7* I have been trying to access my funds for 10 days and after countless emails no representative assisted me. They have no phone number so my money is gone. Circle invest scammed me!! ### 1/5 — Can’t withdraw. Absolute trash. *2019-10-30* Yet another garbage crypto app that doesn’t let you withdraw your crypto. Do they actually have the crypto they offer? Who knows!.. because you don’t technically even own the crypto you purchased. Granted Voyager’s withdrawal fees are not ideal.. at least they have the decency to give you an option to withdraw. Circle is no better than Robinhood. But at least with Robinhood, you can also buy stocks. Circle just looks pretty. I feel bad for the UI team because they wasted their time on such a garbage app. ### 1/5 — Worst Cryptocurrency Service Available *2019-10-29, version 1.6.7* They let you deposit instantly but when you want to withdraw they hold your money and then it’s not even sent back to your bank account the day they say. So this is the worst service ever and I remember when bitcoin was just starting to gain fame it was great so I don’t know what happened but this is unacceptable service now. ### 1/5 — App is a scam *2019-10-17, version 1.6.7* Beware, I invested 320$ into this app and when I tried to withdraw it didn't transfer my money back to my bank as of October 17th like it promised. Not sure if your servers are down but customers need to know. ### 1/5 — Account closed for no reason, no explanation given *2019-04-10* I've literally read through both the Circle user agreement, and the Circle Invest user agreement now, and found absolutely nothing in there about restricted activity that I could have committed. My only 2 explanations at this point are 1.) I didn't update my previous address to my new address in time and that was some sort of BS red flag or 2.) Your app secretly collects information from my phone, and saw that I had a Bitcoin wallet that was Tor encrypted. (Samouri.) Mind you that this doesn't violate the user agreement because I didn't even use circle pay to make payments through a Tor browser, nor am I even a circle pay customer. Both are unacceptable reasons to close an account. Yet, I'm left to speculate because they refuse to give any information whatsoever. Also, the KYC/AML verification for this app is beyond typical verification I've seen from other apps. ### 3/5 — Can’t send any coins to another wallet *2019-03-31* I hope you guys update my Crypto’s to buy and I hope that we can send and receive crypto to a different wallet. Scared to moved a lot of my eth cuz you guys are acting as my wallet and I don’t feel comfortable with a lot in it. Been told never to leave large amount on site especially Coinbase, why I’m with you. Pick up the slack and add more crypto’s we can buy. ### 1/5 — People seriously, just go to Coinbase *2019-03-29* This app is four times as inconvenient six times as expensive and has eight times less features than Coinbase. Their fees are out of control in comparison to anyone else and they do not support movement from any other wallet to their wallet and vice versa. As in you cannot move your money to another exchange. Crypto currency does not make money like this at this point in time. It does not make money like a stock. The app was functional back in the days but now, it is the most useless thing. There is no customer support at all, none whatsoever, nonexistent for sure. Nothing works! I been chasing them for about 7 months now just trying to withdraw my money and they will not let me do it. The same bank account that was connected to purchase my coins is the same bank account that they denied when it came to withdraw. I opened a brand new bank account and still unable to link it to the account. At this point, they are more of a scam then a platform. I have been emailing their help center for about 7 months now and I only got replied to once and that definitely did not fix the problem. Thank you for scamming me. ### 1/5 — Incorrect pricing on ETC, and zero app support, plus no access to your coins! Buyer Beware! *2021-04-29* Buyer BEWARE!! First off, there is absolutely zero app support, it takes like a month to get an email back from support, and then days to actually get an answer to your question, let alone an actual resolution. But, my biggest issue by far is that their price for ETC is way off, for at least 48 hours now! ETC reached $35 per coin, and now I want to sell, but Circle Invest is listing it at $29 despite every other app and exchange having the correct prices listed, just over $35. I’ve been emailing both circle support and Voyager, who’s supposedly purchased the company, but no answers from either, nor amy of their Twitter support accts. This app has my money and won’t give it to me unless I accept a $7 less per coin price, which is absolutely robbery!! This app also won’t let you access your own coins, that you’ve purchased with your own money. I’d stay away from this app if they didn’t already have over a thousand dollars of mine!! Use a crypto exchange that actually lets you access your coins. Good luck. ### 1/5 — Will not let me withdraw profit *2021-04-04, version 1.7.0* I can been buying crypto on this app for months now. As soon as Bitcoin skyrocketed I go to make a withdrawal and it says my account is under review. The message says it take 5 to 7 days for the review. Here I am months later with the same message showing up and I can’t with draw my investment or my profit. I have reached out to support with NO response at all. ### 1/5 — Theifs *2021-02-05, version 1.7.0* I aaa trying to login to my circle account only to get “ Unfortunately we are unable to offer you an account with Circle at this time”. I contacted and was told they won’t give me the specific reason and they won’t let me have access to my own money. So know you can lose your money at anytime if you uses this app ### 1/5 — Can’t withdraw btc *2020-10-09, version 1.7.0* I have btc in my account and can’t withdraw. Opened multiple support tickets over last few months. ### 1/5 — DO NOT USE *2020-08-14, version 1.7.0* I repeat, DO NOT USE. I have been using the app for about 2 years. Circle announced a couple months ago they’re selling this part of the company to Voyager. Since then I have been trying to withdraw my money for the last 6 months and haven’t been able to!! It’s crazy. I’ve submitted 5+ help requests and no one answers. No support. On top of that, today they initiated a deposit from my bank account to the app without me scheduling it! Some items I’d like to see in the future: 1. Ability to set up my own combination of investments. Currently the pre-selected market buys are great, but I’d love to be able to set a few invest buttons based on percentages I specify. 2. Coin/Wallet access. If this platform could serve as a wallet where I would be free move my btc and eth as I wish, it would be nearly perfect. I feel like I’d be willing to pay a monthly flat service fee for this. 3. Have read from others, but a simplified tax reporting option for yearly reporting. 4. More regular blog updates from the team.
