### 1/5 — Can we hire actual HUMAN BEINGS?!

*2026-06-21, version 6.47.1*

I just began utilizing this service, and it’s a nightmare. While my provider is amazing, trying to utilize the app to communicate is absolutely impossible. After doing three days of onboarding, my script was sent to the pharmacy. And of course—there are issues. The pharmacy has made it clear the ONLY pathway to resolve the issue is via the prescribing doc—There is no way to contact my provider. I’ve called every number and left messages. I’ve put in ticket requests. No response. There is no option to simply “message your provider”.The only other pathway is to book and pay for another appointment. I’ve been without my medication for almost a week. I was holding out hope that I found reliable care in Circle Med——but all it’s giving is “pill farm”. As it stands, I’ve learned many pharmacies, such as CVS, refuse to fill scripts from this company—making finding a pharmacy In the area that actually carries my medication, even more difficult. If I recall, Done ADHD ran into a similar fate with pharmacy denials, and lack of ways to communicate with providers, and they are now…..out of business. So, good luck Circle Med! You’re gonna need it.

### 1/5 — Increased frustration

*2026-06-18, version 6.47.0*

The doctor is late to every appointment. He forgets to file my prescription. Leaving me without medication for 2-3 days at a time. And there is no way to contact him directly. You have to go through a support person, who is restricted to access doctor until 24hours after appointment.

### 1/5 — Not patient friendly, only want your money, clunky and glitchy app

*2026-06-09, version 6.47.0*

They don’t let you reply to messages. They try to charge you unwarranted. They change providers on you. The providers are good, the app and the policies are horrendous. Do yourself a favor and go to an office instead.

### 1/5 — Find Another Online Doctor

*2026-06-07, version 6.47.0*

I have tried back to back days to get an online appointment. This first one went through and then the audio cut out then the doctor left. Rescheduled for the following morning and waiting 20 mins and the doctor never joined. The app doesn’t work on WiFi at all. I tried my second call on the computer and no luck with that.

### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Your Money

*2026-06-04, version 6.47.0*

For ADHD if it is more than a mild case they won’t diagnose you. They aren’t psychiatrists so if you show signs of other issues they will take your money for the initial appointment $179, give you a follow up for $120, and blood work for around $160, fully knowing they won’t be able to help you based on THE FIRST appointment. I had a follow-up appointment after my blood work that I canceled because there was no point, and they charged me the $50 late cancellation fee! Wow. Not only that, they delete the assessment they give you so you have no record of them saying “based on what you said we think you have ADHD”….completely deleted.

### 1/5 — Used to be great

*2026-06-03, version 6.47.0*

I’ve had a really good experience with this app over the years however, in the last year, I have not had success with appointments being completed. Often, I will schedule an appointment and the doctor will cancel after the appointments already supposed to have been completed or on one occasion, the doctor joined the appointment and never spoke to me and left after a few minutes

### 1/5 — Get a support number

*2026-06-01, version 6.47.0*

Getting support on this app is beholden to a chatbot who may or may not connect you to a human within several hours. There is no number to call. It forces you to play phone tag, waiting hours between simple questions and getting any sort of response. The service is great, but the technology behind it runs as efficiently as the american healthcare system.

### 3/5 — Great providers but not a great app

*2026-05-27, version 6.46.0*

I love Circle Medical’s providers and their health staff! The app is just… not great. Example: there’s no back button to exit the secure messages. You can’t upload requested photos. Would really love it if they gave it some basic UI testing before rolling out updates.

### 1/5 — Scammmmmm

*2026-05-13, version 6.45.2*

They will bill you for disconnection, even if you don’t get treated. Also have some very rude and mean doctors on the site!! ‼️‼️‼️‼️ Avoid if you can, horrible horrible service

### 1/5 — Terrible technology

*2026-05-12, version 6.45.2*

The Circle user interface is awful. You can’t directly message your provider. You have to go through support—unless the provider initiates a message, but they may make it “no reply.” It’s fairly hidden how to rebook with the same person. You can’t add secondary insurance yourself. In-app chat can take days to respond. If I had a one-off need to see someone , anyone, in an emergency, I guess it could work. For actual ongoing medical care? I don’t see how.

### 1/5 — Avoid this company.

*2026-05-12, version 6.45.1*

There are better online tele-health services.

Had a bad experience, over regulated and the doctor seemed to enjoy trying to control me and delaying my care unnecessarily before the call cut out.

He blamed “circled medical” for the extra steps that other doctors do not do. But he seemed to really enjoy making me have to wait for care…

Strangest experience with a medical “professional” I have ever had. Very weird…

Circle medical is overpriced on top of being slow and bad doctors.

Trying to get my money back now.

I already and found a cheaper better option. Saw a doctor and got medication same day in hand with another service. This Service with circle would delay my medication 1-2 weeks. Hard pass!

*this is the first review I have ever written in the App Store after using it for 10 years…

### 2/5 — Enjoy panic attacks?

*2026-04-30, version 6.44.1*

Want a panic attack every time you sign in and have the app often kick you out for no reason?

Ever felt like not being able to sign into an appointment and have the app constantly sending you back to the login screen multiple times?

Everyone an app that updates every few days?

This is your app!

### 1/5 — Dont bother

*2026-04-25, version 6.44.1*

While my provider was absolutely lovely, i missed one appointment on accident and now im not able to book any appointments at all thats ridiculous.

### 1/5 — UNUSABLY BUGGY

*2026-04-15, version 6.43.2*

The app is barely usable for anything - logging in, booking appointments, contacting support. I was lucky I could actually log on for my appointment successfully. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Now every time I try to reschedule an appt it tells me the slot I selected isn’t available…but I can see it as available. I can’t even message my doctor to let her know I need to reschedule, and support “responds when they can”.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2026-04-14, version 6.43.2*

No flexibility, charge you every chance they get. Drs never respond.

### 2/5 — Confusing and Conflicting Billing Practices

*2026-04-13, version 6.43.2*

They want to scam you. They will give different guidelines about rescheduling and won’t honor either. Just to charge you more money. Being that a lot of people use this resource for mental health, their practices are intentionally deceptive and wrecks the system if the patient. They have no real customer service line or way to communicate, only an AI chat bot that promises someone will come help that never actually does.

### 1/5 — App is horrible

*2026-03-29, version 6.42.0*

Your app is horrible. It has been terrible for the last few months. I constantly have to delete the app and download it again. A couple of times I had no video during my appointments and today I was unable to connect to my appointment , I kept getting a message “ to contact support. When I contacted support - it was very hard to figure out how to send a message to an actual person (not AI) and than I got a message back stating that chat was unavailable ( I guess they are closed on Sundays). I also was unable to message my doctor directly through the app - to let her know what was going on - so I was promptly charged a no show fee of $50! This is ridiculous!!!!

### 1/5 — Impersonal & profit-first. Ended up deleting my account

*2026-03-27*

Circle medical uses predatory billing practices along with a slew of AI tools. While the provider I met with was nice, it was clear she was just reading from an AI most of the time & my appointment felt like a waste of my time. The inclusion of AI was not presented to me prior to booking the appointment & was not present in their terms & services as far as I could find. Cancelling, missing & rescheduling appoints within 24 hours of the appointment comes with a $50 fee. This fee is hung over your head in notifications saying “It's time to join your appointment. Join now to avoid the $50 no show fee” this feels immensely predatory & really reminds the patient that they’re just there as a source of income for the provider. Very impersonal. When I originally booked the appointment, while it was made clear to me that this would be a telehealth visit, it was not clear to me that the provider I was seeing was not in the United States at all, meaning I was unable to be prescribed any medication. Overall just very unfriendly & profits over people experience that I cannot recommend. On top of this I was billed 88 dollars for a “Mental Health Assessment” which was just a general anxiety questionnaire that contributed nothing to my already underwhelming appointment. As well, they must have your card on file & will bill you automatically with no warning. Terrible experience on this app over all. Ended up deleting my account. Wish I had never made one in the first place.

### 1/5 — I love this service, but the app is horribly buggy.

*2026-03-14, version 6.41.3*

I love my provider and I have had a great experience with the service overall, however, the app has multiple issues and it is also frustrating not being able to access my record from the web.

- My provider and I have had multiple calls with no video or no sound, requiring us to leave and rejoin the call.

- I am unable to access my invoices in app, which I need to submit for medical reimbursements…but my only option to access them is in app. There’s no email or web interface. Clicking “past appointments” does nothing even after restarting the app. I cannot even send a message to support because the “Send us a message” feature only uses pre-programmed inputs.

### 2/5 — Impersonal & profit-first

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — beware of persona

*2026-08-31, version 6.50.0*

they ONLY use persona for ID verification, if you value your online security, steer clear of utilizing persona for online ID verification

### 1/5 — Not a fan

*2026-08-21, version 6.50.0*

Problem with these apps is it feels like they are just desperate to charge late fees hit you up with that $50 fee. It’s like it’s a big money boon. Phone didn’t ring nobody called but bam $50. It waits for all of these little reminders to pop up. Nothing popped up, and the phone didn’t ring.

### 1/5 — This is medical fraud

*2026-08-17, version 6.49.0*

Was promised an apt for an adhd assessment with a psych. The app provided a regular PCP. They did a partial assessment and then decided at the beginning of the second appointment after I was charged to stop treating me during a medication wean. I was not abusive or problematic as a patient. Would not recommend—they will lie and take your money.

### 1/5 — Terrible service possible scam

*2026-08-13, version 6.49.0*

I tried two days in a row. First day doctor showed up late then hung up on me 10 minutes in as I was getting history. Today, doctor just didn’t show up. This site sucks

### 1/5 — Don’t recommend

*2026-08-05, version 6.49.0*

First appt was cancelled then same day, rebooked with another provider and no showed. I waited 15 mins and then about 10 mins later was charged a no show fee.

### 1/5 — Overpriced

*2026-07-27, version 6.48.0*

I was told that it was 95% covered by my insurance. Then I was sent a 105$ bill for an appointment where nothing was prescribed.

### 1/5 — Non-medical unprofessional

*2026-07-24, version 6.48.0*

These are not doctors. The “medical directors” should be held personally liable for their mistreatment of patients.

### 1/5 — Do not waste your money

*2026-07-16, version 6.48.0*

Worst medical service

### 1/5 — Just go to an in-person doctor

*2026-06-25, version 6.47.1*

If you’re looking for continuation of care and want to avoid paying for 3 appointments just to be diagnosed with ADHD you already know you have, go to an in-person doctor instead. Circle Medical: Make it more clear that ADHD intake will cost well above $179 because it will require 3 appointments 😄! Don’t send me an email with that info AFTER I schedule my first appointment. Also, really going to charge $50 when I cancel an appointment within a couple hours of scheduling?! Should be within 12 hours. 24 is way overkill since I scheduled the appointment the same day. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Cannot message my provider

*2026-06-22, version 6.47.1*

I am all of a sudden unable to message my provider and can’t get a prescription refill. No customer service available
