### 4/5 — Add element boxes?

*2024-10-22, version 2.92*

Can you also add the possibility for resistors to be read in voltage and ability to converting to resistance? Add batteries? Some circuits the resistors have voltages read as them we must find Vfb in the circuit aka high and low sides.

Also I get it’s a calculator but I just built a circuit and didn’t get any option for calculation.

### 4/5 — Add diodes?

*2024-10-02, version 2.92*

Wonderful app, taking electronic circuits right now, but I noticed there are no diodes for this app. Wondering if it would be possible to add them in an update?

### 2/5 — No diodes in ac mode

*2021-11-17, version 2.92*

Thought it could help me better understand bridge rectifiers, but there are no diodes in AC mode. Disappointing.

### 2/5 — Update

*2020-11-21, version 2.90*

The new update is trash. When you go to light up the circuit all the values are not visible. If you’re considering updating I would hold off till next version.

### 2/5 — Voltage

*2020-04-05, version 2.89*

How do you add voltage?

### 2/5 — User guide access

*2019-07-20, version 2.89*

How is the user guide accessed in the app?

### 3/5 — Voltage settings

*2017-10-19, version 2.84*

How do you set the voltage of the cell? Couldn't find anything on it please help

### 5/5 — A great app

*2016-11-14, version 2.7*

Really easy to use this useful app. So glad I found it. Makes designing circuits quick easy and accurate

### 2/5 — Very limited app

*2016-10-22, version 2.3*

Not a worth-wild purchase

### 5/5 — BSEE Engineer

*2016-06-14, version 1.52*

I used to calculate powers for individual Resistors in the latter network with a large load. It worked very nicely for multiple circuits, easy to use, most important quick.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2016-02-03, version 1.52*

Has really helped me when using it to check my own calculations. Nothing I can find is comparable on the App Store!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t seem to work?

*2025-02-11, version 2.92*

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but it seems the components won’t rotate… I can’t use it. Seems it could be a bit more intuitive.

### 1/5 — Scan app

*2024-09-28, version 2.92*

Do not buy it it’s a scam

### 1/5 — Terrible for basic physics

*2021-02-26, version 2.91*

You can’t even solve simple questions the way you would expect to. You don’t even have a regular power source, only ground node. Waste of money

### 1/5 — Trash tutorials

*2020-12-14, version 2.90*

I can’t turn resistors or the wires

### 1/5 — Help!!!

*2020-03-20, version 2.89*

How do you rotate a wire or a resistor?

### 1/5 — Total rubbish

*2017-10-05, version 2.83*

Difficult to use- you can't analyse anything- no way to get instructions menu. Don't believe other reviews- this is useless.

### 1/5 — Missing so much

*2017-09-04, version 2.83*

Needs switches, leds, infrared, transistors. The basics really

### 1/5 — capacitor

*2016-12-10, version 2.8*

i deleted it when i saw the capacitor is in units of henries. thans for nothing

### 1/5 — Needs work

*2015-03-22, version 1.2.1*

Can't add capacitors or pots, so not much good for DC circuits. Crashed 3x in first 10 minutes.

### 1/5 — Useless for anything but the most basic circuit analysis.

*2014-09-22, version 1.2.0*

I am an electrical engineering student, and I thought it would be helpful to have a circuit analysis app to double check my answers. You will not find that here. The only components available are sources and resistors in DC analysis. You can't even make the most basic RC or RL circuits. The only thing this app is useful for is voltage or current division. If this app was free, I wouldn't bother writing a review. I would just delete it. But since it is not free, everyone should know to save your dollar for something else. Do not buy.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — At last!!!!

*2025-06-25, version 3.01*

I have been looking for a program to check my calculations easily and I have finally found one that does exactly what I want. There are lots of others on the market but you won't be disappointed with this as it's not overly complicated (if U don't want it to be) and does exactly what it says on the tin!!

### 5/5 — Great update

*2025-06-22, version 3.01*

New user interface look great.

### 5/5 — Essential for EE students

*2024-11-26, version 2.92*

This app is a flippin lifesaver-almost feels like cheating to use it! It’s been a really great tool for doublechecking my circuit analysis calculations for class assignments

### 5/5 — Excellent Electronics App

*2024-01-16, version 2.92*

I really appreciate this excellent app you created
I've just started using it for my Facebook page.
I post daily circuit problems for fans of electronics theory design to practice.
I hope you continue to support & develop it.
Thanks.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-09-05, version 2.92*

This app is everything I need to help with my circuit analysis. Easy to use

### 5/5 — Great Circuit Analysis App

*2021-02-21, version 2.91*

I think this app is amazing for building circuits for college level classes. It is the only app I have encountered on the AppStore that allows you to build simple circuits with intuitive controls and complete analysis. I have only encountered one minor issue and the Dev responded very quickly and updated the app to fix the issue. Great app, great developer. Highly recommended!

### 5/5 — Amazing resource for EE undergrads

*2020-10-29, version 2.89*

This is quite possibly one of the most amazing apps I’ve used during my electrical engineering degree. It’s a fantastic resource for checking simple circuits. It didn’t help me solve problems in my homework but I could check that most of my work was correct. 10/10. Great app.

edit: I have to edit this response actually. I definitely used it to solve lots of my homework problems. (But I still did all the calculations anyways, cuz you know... learning). 11/10.

### 5/5 — Worthwhile

*2017-11-14, version 2.85*

Godsend for checking homework in intro circuits class

### 5/5 — Highly recommended

*2017-09-13, version 2.83*

Perfect for students

### 5/5 — Best $2

*2017-02-14, version 2.82*

I have a circuits class for college and this app is lightyears better than what the teacher recommends for the course and is way cheaper, very easy to use and clearly lists out the components and how each part is affected by voltage and current
