### 3/5 — Mediocre at Best

*2026-08-31, version 2.0.0*

This is a well-designed app that’s easy to setup and use. However, Circuit Go might be one of the most disappointing laundry services out there, for a lack of an alternative description. The laundry machines have taken my payments on three separate occasions and would fail to start the laundry cycle without any warning signs or errors. Some of the least reliable and most frustrating machines to deal with, even in this day and age. For the prices charged, you would expect better.

### 3/5 — Support

*2026-06-28, version 2.0.0*

Support not even supporting

### 1/5 — Misleading App: says Pagoda Preston open 24 hours.

*2026-06-25, version 2.0.0*

Well, it’s not. In fact unbeknownst to me, after you leave, it locks you out. So 45 mins later you can’t get back in to do the drying cycle.

What sort of cockamamie Laundromat is this?

Next time I’m going to sit inside the venue and wait until it’s done. Ridiculous.
And, they have £16 of my money!

### 1/5 — forces you to add balance even if you have enough

*2026-06-10, version 2.0.0*

really frustrating app where if your balance dips below £5 you’re forced to top it up even if you have enough to cover the wash and dry. I have £3 right now, enough to cover the dry but it’s forced me to add another £5 on to my account for no reason.

stupid design.

### 1/5 — Would rate 0 stars if I could

*2026-06-08, version 2.0.0*

Genuinely so bad. So expensive and unable to get refunds when it doesn’t work or double charges. And to top it all off you get charged £2 in administration fees when withdrawing the money you have in your account. Has rinsed me so bad.

### 1/5 — Awful company

*2026-06-07, version 2.0.0*

Laundry never washes properly and impossible to get refunds, even when it's the machine's fault. Avoid if you can.

### 1/5 — Machine broke while using, no refund and unspun sheets

*2026-06-06, version 2.0.0*

I was moving out from university and washing my sheets when I returned at the end of the cycle timer to find my sheets sopping wet, just absolutely dripping. Usually there would be a spin cycle but I guess it broke before it got to that. I don’t sit and watch for 45 minutes so I don’t know how far along it actually got, it might not have even fully rinsed my soap out. I don’t have the money to wash them a second time considering the cheapest wash is over £3. When I called support no refund was offered and I was told the machine would be fixed another day. The issue isn’t that there are no other machines, the issue is that my money was wasted on a half done load that I had to wring out in the parking lot before drying. Not overloaded, just an error code that drained the water and cancelled the spin cycle. I’ve had nothing but issues with how much a single load of laundry costs and to not even have properly clean sheets at the end is ridiculous. I never leave bad reviews but this company has left a terrible taste in my mouth. That in addition to a £2 processing fee to take back any money you had left in the account.

### 1/5 — Worst customer service

*2026-06-02, version 2.0.0*

I pay for the machine, as soon I press go it stops working and it says “error”. I put my stuff in another machine so I can pay and it doesn’t work. I tell reception they say go to circuit. It’s 7pm Saturday so I can’t contact them yet. Sunday the lady is telling me she will refund me. She didn’t. I chat to them the next day they are telling me they can’t issue a refund because it’s been 48 hours. So dismissive and rude didn’t even try to hear me out of over the chat.

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2026-05-23, version 2.0.0*

Accidentally miss typed my phone number and now any time I try to log in the app wants to send a message to that phone number even though I have the code and right number plugged in and even if I delete the app or refresh it, it’ll still send a code to number that doesn’t exist and won’t let me log in or change the number.

### 1/5 — the worst laundry company ever.

*2026-05-22, version 2.0.0*

i’ve never actually been able to wash my clothes and dry them in 1 wash. in my two previous places, i was able to wash them. i’m now having to go to my friends student accommodation to wash my clothes. do not blame this on my accommodation either, this is entirely circuit go’s fault. i’ve asked for refunds in the past and they’ve refused to give me a refund, they asked how much laundry did i put in and i said maybe like 40% full and they said the reason my clothes didn’t fully dry after TWO WHOLE HOURS ON FULL HEAT IN THE DRYER was because i didn’t load my laundry at 50%. that’s ridiculous. every penny counts as a student and circuit go couldn’t care less about you. all these 5 star reviews are fake, do not trust them, you are better off going to a local laundromat or laundrette as they actually care about your clothes. £4.10 i have to pay for a wash and £2.60 for a dry is ridiculous. you should be ashamed of yourselves circuit go.

### 3/5 — It’s ok

*2026-05-17, version 2.0.0*

Could we please get an option of in use, free and clothes need to be taken out please? So many people leave their washing in that it is hard to know when it’s good to go down, or if you have just wasted your time

### 4/5 — University of Nottingham halls

*2026-05-12, version 2.0.0*

The machines are easy to use and the price is reasonable but the dryers often leave my clothes damp.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

*2026-08-27, version 2.0.0*

Forces you to keep a minimum money balance of £5. Absolute highway robbery for those of us travelling or with one-time laundry needs. Have warned others on reddit and elsewhere online... don't be like me! Just wash in the bathtub!

### 1/5 — Expensive and prone to malfunctioning

*2026-08-22, version 2.0.0*

It’s been several times already that the app/machines have charged me, yet no washing took place. Many like me are forced to use them due to no other local available choice, and Circuit takes advantage of that circumstance.

### 1/5 — Minimum top up

*2026-08-18, version 2.0.0*

I don’t understand why I can’t just top up the exact amount I need instead of at least £5.

### 1/5 — The scummiest company ever

*2026-08-17, version 2.0.0*

Raise the price by 10p quietly and don’t allow you to top up by less than £5 so that users cannot use up their credit and they always keep the unused credit as profits.

Never seen a company that is scummier than that.

### 1/5 — Thieving chancers

*2026-08-13, version 2.0.0*

We worked out it was cheaper to buy a washing machine than pay for circuit laundry for a year. Go to hell circuit.

### 1/5 — “No minimum amount of top up credit”

*2026-08-06, version 2.0.0*

This is not correct. The app has now changed so you have to top up a minimum of £5. This needs changing in the app description.

### 1/5 — Waste of money

*2026-07-27, version 2.0.0*

This app is the stupidest thing I’ve ever downloaded. Half of the time the machine doesn’t even turn on. You have to pay into a balance that you can’t even withdraw from without them taking your money away ! It’s so bad don’t get this if your building has the screen

### 1/5 — Don’t use it if unnecessary

*2026-07-21, version 2.0.0*

I will never use such rubbish app and service again, they never repair their rubbish machine on time and let it charge your money with no services. When you ask them for refund, they’ll said they’ll can’t give you refund after48h. If you can find any replacement for washing your clothes, Just leave them alone. I highly recommend you to buy a laundry from joybuy for yourself. It will be much cheaper.

### 1/5 — Faulty Machines, Poor Support, and Wasted Money

*2026-06-28, version 2.0.0*

I’m a student living at Brecon Court at UWE, and the laundry service has been a constant source of frustration. This isn’t just a problem from the past week. It’s been happening since last year, and nothing seems to have improved.

Over the past week alone, I’ve wasted so much money on faulty washing and drying machines that either don’t work properly and my clothes would still be extremely wet. Having to pay again because of broken machines is unacceptable. To make things worse, customer support isn’t actually available 24/7, so when a machine fails outside their support hours, you’re left with no help and no immediate solution.

Students rely on these machines every week, yet the ongoing lack of maintenance and unreliable service shows very little has been done to fix the issue. After dealing with the same problems for over a year, I can’t recommend Circuit Go.

### 1/5 — Worst Developer

*2026-06-28, version 2.0.0*

This app is one of the worst apps ever made. The user side interface is irritating. Finally, successfully uninstalled the app
