As a health tracking device, I believe the ring should be able to sync the data with the phone without user interaction ### 1/5 — 全く使えないアプリとリング *2026-06-10, version 29.2.0* 凄いリングがあるもんだと喜び勇んでサーキュラーリングを購入、届いてから半年以上使用していますが、1ヶ月もまともにデータ収集してくれた事が無い。頻繁なアプリのアプデートなどやメンテナンスでアプリ自体もまともに継続して使えた事が無い！おかしいな？と思ってるとサーバーメンテナンス。。。。最近は睡眠データもまともに収集出来ない、いくら寝てもデータが無いと表示されるし、朝イチで起きたばかりなのに歩数が3000歩以上出てたり、iPhoneのヘルスケアアプリの歩数は8000歩ぐらいなのにサーキュラーアプリは3万歩近く歩ってる事に。日本語設定なのにKIRAの回答が英語で返って来たり(本当は日本語回答でなければならない)、この前は心拍数アラートがあったので確認すると187も‼️そんな心拍数になったら普通にしてても以上を感じます‼️ サポートに言われた通りリングのリセットや校正を何十回も繰り返してもまともに治って動いた事が無い。治ったな？と思ってたら又2、3日後におかしくなる。サポートの回答ちょー遅いし、対応も杜撰。今現在もサポートとのやりとりは続き、回復していない。もうこのリングはいらん、金を返して欲しい‼️ringconn gen2の方がデータをきちんと収集してくれる。 ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-06-07, version 29.2.0* Had this for ages, keep being told it’ll improve. When it works it’s great but it’s about 50/50 working/ crashing. I do all I’m advised to do, reboot etc etc. status of app reported as fine but it’s not server crashes have to be to blame mostly. No background sync, which means that you have to go into the app and wait MINUTES for the data to sync between the ring, your phone the cloud & then back to your phone again before you can see any real time data. Doesn’t record all data. horrible. ### 1/5 — Horrible customer service and product - stay away *2026-05-28* I received my circular ring 2 in September, 6 months after I ordered it, and it started having issues with syncing towards the end of February as well as holding a charge (not quite 6 months of using the ring). Not to mention that when I received my ring it was scratched. I notified their support of the scratch immediately after receiving it, but never heard back. I let that go, but once it stopped syncing and keeping its charge, I notified support, got a response, but they just keep asking me to take more pictures and video of the ring instead of just replacing it and having me send the defective one back. It’s been over 2 months of back and forth with no resolution in sight and because I purchased via kickstarter, they refuse to refund me. Tried resetting the ring, reinstalling the app ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work - No support *2026-05-07* Updated review: I stopped wearing the ring a while ago because the app was too inconsistent. I don’t know exactly how long it’s been, but months later after trying again, there’s still issues. The biggest problem for me is the “ring data gets corrupted” very often and the only fix is to factory reset the device. Every time this happens you lose a day or so of data. This same issue has been happening since the beginning and there hasn’t been a fix. If your goal with this device was to track sleep and compare different nights, you simply can’t. I changed from 1 to 2 stars because it works some of the time, but I’m throwing mine back in a drawer. Original review: It’s been 7 days since my ring was able to sync to the app. I’ve reached out to support through email, chat, online form and socials. No response. They’ve been experiencing “down time” for a week straight. They give troubleshooting steps through status page updates that do nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. **Developer response:** Hi, We’re sorry for the trouble you’re experiencing. If your app crashes during synchronization, please try Settings → Factory Reset on the app. This resolves the issue and should allow your ring to sync. Our support team will get back to you as soon as possible, and we apologize for the delayed responses. If our team was able to help and improve your experience, we would really appreciate it if you could consider updating the rating you left on the app. Your feedback means a lot to us! ### 1/5 — Rester loin 😢 *2026-05-07, version 29.2.0* Client depuis le début, j’ai acheté chaque version. Malheureusement au fil du temps tout se dégrade: j’ai 2 bagues dont une qui ne marche plus depuis 6 mois (la bague a marché 3 mois en fait) et le service client ne sait pas gérer ! Il me demande sans cesse de renvoyer les mêmes photos, les mêmes vidéos et rien depuis ne passe depuis 6 mois! La synchro fonctionne quand elle en a envie. Et Kira , leur IA, c’est du flan! Elle ne fait que résumer les infos relevées par la bague….😳même un collégien ferait mieux! Je suis un consommateur patient, fidèle et compréhensif jusqu’à un certain point et là…j’avoue qu’ils poussent trop loin….dommage 😠 ### 2/5 — Won't Open Up *2026-05-06, version 29.2.0* It's great when it works! But more and more frequently, the app wont open on my phone. It's very frustrating especially because it happens every few days. I then have to delete the app, reinstall, and sink the ring up again. If i'm going to spend this much money on a ring, I would at least like the app to work. ### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Your Money *2026-04-28, version 29.2.0* They expanded too quickly and couldn’t handle it. My first email went unanswered for four months. Finally received a pointless response. They asked for feedback and I wasted my time giving a thoughtful response with 19 different suggestions or comments. They never responded. Sent another email 6 months later and STILL no response. Customer service like this deserves to fail. Don’t waste your money. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — DONT BUY THIS RING!! *2026-08-09, version 29.16.1* The ring stop connecting to my phone within the first two weeks, customer service tries to stall you by having you do basic troubleshooting steps and waiting 3 days. Then once you wear it and find out the ring doesn’t work, they tell you that they do not give returns after 14 days and the ring has to be unworn. I didn’t even get 2 weeks out of this garbage I spent $500+ on. DO NOT BUY THIS OR YOU WILL REGRET IT. LOOK UP THE CIRCULAR RING GROUPS ON FACEBOOK… THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR CIRCULAR RINGS NOT WORKING. JUST DONT… ### 1/5 — Insupportable ! Despite of my continued requests p for technical attention, and after sending them all the data they requested, no technical support was received, and the ring is yet defective: if the sleep data are missing, many of the features won’t function, either. I have sent them about 20 email and messages, and yet, no solution given. Caveat empor. ### 1/5 — Still complete rubbish *2026-07-26, version 29.16.1* Absolutely appalling product and disgraceful customer service. The Circular app is complete rubbish, the ring itself is unreliable, and the customer service is virtually non-existent. It took six months just to receive a response, followed by another three months of endless back-and-forth, with no proper resolution. Despite the ring clearly being faulty, Circular has refused to replace it. Instead, they repeatedly ask for the same information and data that has already been submitted multiple times. It feels like a deliberate attempt to delay, frustrate customers, and avoid taking responsibility for a defective product. The health and sleep metrics are wildly inaccurate, the ring constantly disconnects and reconnects, and the connection issues make the app almost unusable. Trying to track a workout or sporting session is an absolute joke. Most of the time, it either fails completely or produces data that cannot be trusted. This is easily one of the worst products I have ever purchased and one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Circular should be ashamed of the way it treats paying customers. Do not waste your money. Do not trust the metrics. Do not expect support when something goes wrong. Avoid Circular at all costs. BUY AN ULTRAHUMAN OR OURA. Great product and very accurate metrics. ### 1/5 — Terrible Product *2026-07-19, version 29.16.1* It worked for less than 2 weeks and then it wouldn’t stay connected, they say the battery charges in 30 minutes and last up to 7 days that’s cap, I charged it for 30 minutes it died the next day. The information it provides is also inaccurate, and they will not let you return the ring after you use it and find out it doesn’t work. Do not buy this ring. ### 1/5 — Deceptive *2026-07-18, version 29.16.1* I purchased this ring during their kickstarter phase under the promise of blood pressure monitoring (the entire reason I purchased the ring) and other benefits. To date, a year later, there is still no blood pressure monitoring and at no point has my ring properly tracked my sleep regardless of restarting the ring, syncing first thing in the morning and last thing at night, etc. I purchased the gold ring and it’s tarnished and easily scratched as well. I’m deeply disappointed in this ring and wouldn’t have wasted my money had I known it would be this unreliable. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work way more frequently than it does work *2026-07-17, version 29.16.1* After owning this ring and using this app now for over 6 months, it still doesn’t work more often than it does. Horrendous app. Wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but it constantly is offline or won’t sync. Absolutely useless in the truest sense of the word. ### 1/5 — The ring is Garbage. *2026-07-17, version 29.16.1* I received my ring Sept 2025 and have been dealing with customer service since. It did not work from day 1. It never tracked sleep or provided any analysis. Customer service has done nothing but ask for pictures of the ring and other pointless asks. They have refused to replace it or refund my money. Just endless delay tactics including rude and bullying emails. Unbelievably horrible experience. Subsequent to my review Circular responded feigning dismay of how they have dealt with this issues including the delays of nearly a year now. They advised that I ask to escalate it to a manager. I had done this before and have tried a further 3 times since their response. Their agents/bot continue to refuse to escalate and continue to delay. Again, horrible experience. For comparison, I also have an Oura ring. It developed a battery issue after a little over 1 year use. After a 5 minute chat session with an Oura agent they sent me a new ring and said I could keep the old one, which still works much better than the circular, to give to a family member of friend. Stay away from circular. Get an Oura. Circular continues to refuse to escalate the matter, after many clear requests, or replace the ring despite sending developer messages asking me to contact them like this: "Hi again, and we’re really sorry that things have continued this way for you. What you’re describing is absolutely not how we want our support or escalation process to work, and we understand how unfair it feels compared to how quickly other companies resolved similar issues. The App Store review space still isn’t somewhere we can securely review your full history or act on a refund or replacement, but we don’t want you stuck in a loop. Please contact us again through the support form on our website with a brief summary of your case, mention this updated review, and clearly state that you want a manager review. We’ll flag this internally so a senior team member can look into what went wrong with both your ring’s sleep tracking and the way your ticket was handled." No help or meaningful response just months of ridiculous asks and delays of nearly 1 year now. Rude, untruthful and non responsive customer “service”. Get an Oura. They have empowered their agents to provide excellent customer service very quickly. Asked again, multiple times through contact form and email for escalation. Circular agents refuse to escalate and then claim it was already escalated but nobody contacted me or told me... Another f-off from Circular customer service. ### 1/5 — Very Buggy *2026-07-01, version 29.14.3* I was one of the early supporters of this ring. It has been buggy and crashes all the time. I would say 75% of the days it does not sync. I have had to reset the ring every week to get it to work for a couple of days. I regret my purchase and would highly recommend you not to buy the Circular 2 ring. You will be disappointed. ### 1/5 — Kickstarter Investor Review *2026-06-21, version 29.14.2* This ring was basic at first. The software seems like it would be helpful but it didn’t come through on what it boasted it would do. The actual ring itself was poorly constructed. The coating chipped off EXTREMELY quickly and the inner wiring ended up poking through. I didn’t even bother with trying for a replacement.
