### 2/5 — Not as great as they promote

*2025-06-13*

They claim to be open 24/7. They are not. They have very limited hours. You can talk to somebody 24/7 but they can’t help you except during certain hours. And expect to be stuck in a chat with them for at least an hour. They are very slow. Also they don’t make follow up appointments. After you chat with them they will want to follow up with you but they will just try to contact you randomly through the app. And if you can’t answer within 10 minutes, if you’re not just available to drop anything you’re doing or stop working anytime they want to follow up, then they will just close the session and your notes. A simple follow up scheduled chat would be more efficient but they can’t be bothered.

### 2/5 — Not very helpful

*2025-03-06*

They claim to be open 24/7 but they’re not. They have limited hours. Speaking to a doctor is OK – it’s a lengthy process but it gets it done. But, they always want to follow up with you but won’t schedule a follow up. They just start a chat without any warning one day and when you don’t respond within 5-10 minutes they cancel it. They expect you to be sitting around all day every day waiting for them to initiate contact. They aren’t very patient-focused.

### 5/5 — Easy and effective

*2023-02-23*

I’ve used this app a few times and each time has been pretty easy. You can chat with a doctor pretty quickly.

**Developer response:** We’re happy to see that you had a 5-Star experience with one of our providers. They are the best!

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2023-02-08, version 10.2.0*

This app is a great way to get care. Extremely easy to use. They respond in seconds.

### 5/5 — Love

*2022-09-25*

Don't expect the same service you would get with an in person consult. But it's handy if you need something simple like a birth control prescription.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us.

### 1/5 — I’ve been let go?

*2022-03-10*

I stopped receiving my refills so I went to contact my doctor about it to see what’s going on, and my account is “inactivated” and it tells me to contact my provider - that they cut me off from. There is no way to contact them. So I just no longer have access to the medical care I was using? Thanks…

### 5/5 — Excellent Service

*2022-01-19*

Fast quick simple and they respond according to your symptoms

**Developer response:** We’re happy to see that you had a 5-Star experience with one of our providers.

### 1/5 — Not good

*2021-10-08*

Their doctors never seem to have an answer or want to pass the buck on to another doctor. Don’t waste your time here. It’s clear they have no valuable product or service

**Developer response:** Sorry to hear that CirrusMD did not meet your expectations. We strive for 100% patient satisfaction and will be passing this information to our doctors. CirrusMD strives for virtual resolution, and sometimes care is best delivered in-person.

### 5/5 — Easy and convenient!

*2021-07-22, version 9.0.0*

App is super easy to use and having this benefit through my employer is AMAZING- I got connected to a doctor to get medical advice in about 30 seconds - super WOW! You are missing out if your don’t have access to these drs!

### 1/5 — Waste of time

*2020-12-24*

I don’t recommend this app. All the doctors I got wanted me to go see a doctor. They all screamed COVID, COVID, COVID. You would think by now since they went to Medical school the difference between a respiratory infection and COVID. It’s a waste of time. No point in explaining your symptoms if they’re going to just say go get tested. One even told me to go get a x Ray done. I can barley afford to go see a doctor now you want me to go get x rays done. This app is suppose to save you time and money and it’s the complete opposite of that.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just recommended to see a DR

*2026-08-10*

I gave what was going on and was told to go see another doctor. I’m in training at work and can’t see my pcp and the urgent care doesn’t take my insurance. It’s free for me to use this app and you get what you pay for I guess.

### 1/5 — Frustrated NOT USER FRIENDLY

*2026-03-18*

I registered for my account in February when I needed a doctor and was able to. Today im feel sick again the link sent to my email from February has expired and as of 4hrs ago I still have not been able to get an appointment. I tried to use the ble question mark for help & No customer support available for 3hrs now. When someone is not feeling well and can’t access even an account with no or delayed responses takes away all integrity your app has.

### 1/5 — Look somewhere else for care

*2026-02-10*

I used Cirrus because I was having severe anxiety problems which turned out to be panic disorder. They got me on some drugs, but did not direct me to therapy or anything that would have actually helped me.
The worst was that when I checked in to ask about my meds I thought I would not be charged, but was charged $60 for each day that I checked in.
I tried to dispute the problem, but was told I had to send an email, which they never responded even after multiple attempts.
I gave up and decided to pay after having received a final notice. Then their provided phone number no longer worked and their web site was having issues. After hours I was finally able to get my payment through.
I sent multiple emails to all their support addresses. I still have not heard back from anyone.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-01-14, version 11.8.0*

Tried to get help a few times and was told by doctor they don’t write prescriptions and can’t order blood work. Can get the same answers from a free AI service.

### 1/5 — Depends on your doctor.

*2024-12-16, version 11.7.0*

Just like real life the doctor seems to make the difference. Although the fast replies are great and I
do believe it’s a helpful app I was brushed off by my doctor and slightly degraded.

### 1/5 — Waste of my Time

*2024-03-03*

I used this app so I wouldn’t have to go in person to a doctor. The doctor I was connected with was very unprofessional and kept asking the same questions over and over, even though I clearly answered them. I was hoping to get prescribed something so I wouldn’t have to see a doctor in person, but all this doctor did was tell me to go see a doctor over and over. Don’t waste your time!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We’re sorry to hear that CirrusMD did not meet your expectations. We will pass this feedback along to our doctors.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2023-09-24*

This app is horrible now. It Used to work and serve a purpose. Now it’s so glitched out so bad I cannot use it at all. Multiple re-installs later and trying to fix it, emailing support, it still don’t work right. If your app starts to tell you to reverify your health record number, doesn’t let you chat with a dr, and has you re-enter a passcode, then it could be glitched-out

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We’re sorry to hear that CirrusMD did not meet your expectations. Please contact support@cirrusmd.com and we will be happy to assist you.

### 1/5 — Don’t use if you need an antibiotic

*2023-08-26, version 11.0.0*

They will just talk down to you and refuse. It’s a huge waste of time and money.

### 1/5 — The world of telemedicine

*2023-07-02*

Moda says it’s offered as a part of my health plan, then they say it’s $45 co-pay, little bait and switch is normal, whatever.

My provider was very prompt and dismissive, told me to check back in 14-21 days (they bill in 7 day cycles).

While I understand that telemedicine isn’t as in depth as an in person appointment with my usual provider (closed on Sundays), this short experience with the service just left me feeling scammed for $45 dollars with a request for up to $90 more.

Won’t use it again, $45 dollar lesson that I’m willing to teach you for free

### 1/5 — ?

*2023-06-08, version 10.5.0*

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Fast, easy, and so helpful!

*2026-02-11*

I logged on late at night, around 12:30am and I was able to get help for my questions immediately. I felt like I was asking silly questions but I was taken seriously and Dr. Yer Xiong was extremely patient, helpful, and very kind. I felt reassured right away with great advice and learned the right next steps to take. Overall, it was a great experience and I will keep this in mind any time I need assistance.

### 5/5 — Medication Refill

*2025-02-10*

Modas app, not this one, is one the most useless apps for getting anything you need. I found a link to this and was immediately counted to a doctor who helped me fill my prescription for a year. Asked all the regular questions a doctor would ask. Went extremely smooth! (The only thing is I don’t have a confirmation of that or my conversation so now I have to wait and see if my meds actually come) Will
Update if they don’t.

### 5/5 — Kid friendly

*2025-02-05*

I love using this app to get care for my kids.

**Developer response:** We’re happy to see that you had a 5-Star experience with one of our providers. They are the best!

### 5/5 — Dr. Mary Jo Young

*2024-06-15*

Wow!! 9 PM on a Friday night and Dr. Mary Jo Young was on the chat in less than 1 min. Within 20 minutes had a thorough chat visit that included medical history and pictures of visible symptoms. Extremely professional and didn’t brush me off. I would HIGHLY recommend this service. Benefit as a Help at Home Employee. Congrats HAH for getting this as a benefit this year. Thank you again Dr. Mary Jo Young I really appreciate your quick and helpful response to the need at hand.

**Developer response:** We’re happy to see that you had a 5-Star experience with Dr. Mary Jo Young. They are the best! We’ll make sure they see this.

### 5/5 — Awsome Doctor Anne!

*2024-01-10*

First time using this app provided by work and man i am glad i used it. The doctor was helpful and very professional. She answered all the questions i had about my health and even regarding the app and how much they are allowed to do. Definitely recommend if you have no urgent cares around your area. This is much better. No wait time and i did it in the comfort of my room.

**Developer response:** We appreciate the feedback! Thanks for the 5-star review.

### 5/5 — Helpful and Convenient

*2023-10-06*

*2023-07-25*

This service is amazing!!! If your company offers this you need to try it.

### 5/5 — Impressed!

*2023-05-12*

I have used this app several times for myself and kids - super easy to use and always get helpful advice and solutions. Has already saved us trips to the dr, and peace of mind. Love the ability to send pictures as well for clarity on issues.

**Developer response:** We’re happy to see that you had a 5-Star experience!
