## What is CiS?

The app provides you with information on; 

- Production date
- Unique Hose ID
- Hose history if applicable
- Coupling part number 
- Hose working pressure 
- Date and person who performed latest pressure test 
- Recommended date for re-pressure test

Note - this technology cannot detect damages or other injuries on hose kit.
Working with high-pressure hydraulics is associated with a danger to your life. Therefore, it is vitally important to eliminate risk as far as possible. With CiS you take control of your hose kits and your safety, together with CEJN’s 40 years of experience you are as safe as can be.

NFC: Wireless data transfer that detects and then enables technology in close proximity to communicate without the need for an internet connection. An NFC chip operates as one part of a wireless link. Once it has been activated by another chip, small amounts of data between the two devices can be transferred when held a few centimeters from each other.

Fixed how hose data is shown after a scan. A tag that could not be read in full is now shown as invalid, instead of being presented as an approved hose.

### 2.4 — 2026-08-14

Improved NFC tag reading. Scans are noticeably more reliable, especially on iPhone.
A tag that cannot be read is now reported as unreadable instead of showing a hose status.
Pressure values are clearly labelled, and long values are no longer cut off.
The repressure screen is now readable in daylight.
Stability and layout fixes throughout.
