## What is Citation Shield?

Citation Shield is a local citation-pattern extractor for plain-text TXT documents. It helps you build a checklist of citation-like references for manual legal research.

WHAT IT DOES
• Select a TXT document from the Files picker
• Extract supported case-style, U.S. Code, and C.F.R. citation patterns on the device
• Review extracted text in context
• Keep a local history on your device

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Citation Shield does not verify legal authority, currentness, accuracy, case treatment, quotation accuracy, or Bluebook compliance. It does not search a legal database and does not provide legal advice. Confirm every extracted item with an official or licensed legal research source before relying on it.

CITATION SHIELD PRO
The optional Pro Monthly subscription unlocks the app's premium local extraction workflow. Price and renewal details are shown by Apple before purchase. You can restore purchases and manage or cancel the subscription through your Apple Account settings.
