Sometimes it won’t even recognise my watch when it’s actually connected. Even though the basic functions works as expected (except frequent disconnection prompt) Citizen can include more new features like notification for Whatsapp and can include an Alarm function (alarm time can be set in watch and watch can be triggered to vibrate). Also app can be programmed to show timer from watch in Chrono mode. UI of this app can be improved a lot as well, since buyers who pay $495 for this watch deserve a better app. Overall a very average app which needs a lot of improvement. ### 3/5 — Needs support *2015-01-23, version 2.5.0* It's a good concept but it's rough around the edges. Keeps sending Link Loss notifications even when it is perfectly connected. I've always bought and have 20 Citizen watches for the quality and service. However the last update for this app and watch was in March 2014 which doesn't fill me with confidence. Suite: Après avoir pris mon numéro car incapable de me répondre, le technicien ne m'a jamais rappelé. Plus de 30 jours se sont écoulés depuis. Je suis prioritaire de quelques Citizen. I suggest citizen to steer away from smart watches altogether as it doesn't pair at all. I paid over $400 for a watch that doesn't get proper apps or updates. The only notification i get off the is the connection terminated ones, other than that is only serves as a time teller. I have sent it to the service centre 03/16 who tried their best, because when it returned i got 1 days worth of useful notifying after which it stopped working, I started using the on a 5s now I am on 6s the problem persists. Keep the watch on CT. And check every few hours. It's not supposed to stay connected 27/7. It would be nice not to have to launch the app in order to dismiss the notification when you use the iPhone search function. ### 5/5 — Well improved. *2014-04-17* The new app works so much better and smoother. ### 5/5 — Great Improvement!! *2014-03-17* Once I learned how to use the new App (completely different than before) and got rid of some of my misunderstandings about using the watch, I am thoroughly enjoying this new version. It is great to be able to update the firmware myself and not have to depend on the App to connect. Pairing is like any other Bluetooth device now! I did have a challenge due to my own misuse from using the first version. I used to press and hold the upper button for a while to reconnect. I learned from Citizen when I do this I am clearing the pairing information from the watch, so I have to clear the paring information from the iPhone, then pair the watch and iPhone again. They advised me to reconnect, simply press and release the upper right button after clearing any notifications present on the watch. I am having great success!! Lots of options for notifications now. I may have to turn some off because my watch feels like it wants to vibrate off my wrist with the notifications! Great to have all the options. If you are having challenges, be sure to ask Citizen for the App 2.5 use guide and Firmware update guide. These are great and really helped me. ### 4/5 — Reinstall solved 9.2 issues *2015-12-12* A reinstall of the app seems to have solved the issues related to the upgrade. ### 4/5 — Works perfectly *2015-11-23, version 2.5.0* I don't know what other people are saying but it works perfectly for me and is a lot better than the previous version of this app. Watch remains connected and even when the rare disconnection happens, it just reconnects itself so it's like I never even knew it disconnected for a few seconds.
