I value this smart journal that relies on researched analysis instead of loose opinions. ### 5/5 — Perfect on an iPad Pro *2016-01-08* You know whether you agree with its politics, I'm here to tell you that, finally, this beautiful magazine looks and works as it should on an iPad: the Pro. The iPad Pro is supposed to be good for artists and multi-app productivity types, and I'm sure it is, but I wanted one to read newspapers and magazines at a more natural size. City Journal is the best example of this strategy. No more pinching and zooming; just reading. It does something called "streamIng", too. Poor App *2021-03-13* The App won’t recognize my subscription. I log in, it says my log-in is successful and then I can’t access any articles (says I still need to pay for them). Objective thinking, in disregard of political motives or concerns. City Journal describes situations as they are, not how agenda-driven pols & others wish them to be. If you respect writers such as Thomas Sowell, I’m certain you’ll view City Journal in the same way. ### 4/5 — Fabulous way to read City Journal *2011-04-14* Now one of my favorite journal's is available on the iPad -- the beauty of the magazine comes through and the format lends itself well to the iPad. I had given up on attempting to alert the elected officials of the “ impending fruits” of the Frankfurt Schoolers and their ilk.
