It has choices that impact relationships and the story itself, exactly what I’d expect from a game like this. The only bad aspect is the energy thing. I get that the creators need money, but this game is good enough to be worth a donation instead of an energy thing. I would have given the game 5 stars if it wasn’t for the energy ordeal. Still, this game is great and a recommedation for anyone wanting to play s good interactive story game. ### 4/5 — Fun but needs some changes *2020-01-14, version 1.7.2* Overall, I enjoy this but there are some big flaws. First is the daily free energy. You can play for about 5 minutes and then it runs out. Nearly every review I read said the same thing, so it’s obviously a major problem. Please work on that. The second thing I don’t like is that you can’t replay 1 single episode to make different choices. You have to start over from the very beginning and go through the entire story again. It takes way too long. The third issue is the “souvenirs.” There should be a better reward for getting characters to like you. Something like free energy. ### 4/5 — Great game, but *2019-11-28, version 1.7.2* This is an amazing game. I love it so much. There’s just 1 problem and 1 idea. You should make more extra episodes, and when got to episode 7 in the middle of when I got to when I got to get vinect it stopped. I’ve turned my phone off, and I’ve done every thing I can do but it doesn’t fix it. I make new stories, and don’t care about that any more, but you should fix it for everyone else. ### 4/5 — Nice story, but too expensive *2019-10-23, version 1.7.2* The story is intriguing, the art is beautiful, the characters are charming and it is a wonderful game. However, I would say the energy is really pricy. And, you can't just replay one episode, you have to start all over again, which means spending a hell lot of energy to get a different ending. I wish the game can provide a little more daily energy, or the price of the energy can be a little cheaper. By the way, Raphael and Vincent remain my favorite characters. ### 4/5 — Bah! An energy system? *2019-10-09, version 1.7.2* In game purchases should be for stuff that doesn’t hinder game/story progression. If there is to be an energy system then it should be refillable by either napping or going to chic cafe that Paris is known for. Not something I have to shell out money for or wait to refill. That’s immersion breaking to the point I nearly uninstalled, however I like the story. Also it would be cool to make our character. ### 4/5 — Energy *2019-04-15, version 1.7.2* Okay so I absolutely love this game but the thing that screws me up is the energy especially as a fast reader all my energy is up in like a minute I would love if you increased the entertainment so we can at least play for about 5 minutes? The storyline has me coming back right at 6 every day to see what’s coming next. However I feel like the daily allotment of energy is too low, even for a game that’s free to play. You only get 5 decisions a day, some of which are used on trivial decisions that have no ostensible impact on the story like choosing what to drink at a cafe. This app would be an excellent experience for me if the daily energy was a bit higher. ### 4/5 — Amazing Game (In Need of Improvements) *2019-03-07, version 1.7.2* This is a great, interactive story-game, and I really like it. The story is interesting, the graphics are appealing, but there are a few problems with the gameplay. A lot of the time, I get annoyed when waiting for energy. I got so tired of it that I deleted the app. It’s a great story, but I can’t enjoy the story if I can only read snippets of it each day. That’s kind of pointless. I understand that the developers need a way to make money from this free game, but there should be a few options (example: watch an ad) to have users gain more energy if they don’t feel like paying for it. I also think that unlocking some energy every now and then would be a great way to boost morale for the users of this game. Unlike other interactive-story games, there’s only one story you can play. They get you interested in this game by making it take you forever to read it so that you’re not immediately uninterested after reading this one story. As interesting as this game is, I prefer Choices, which has several stories and allows you to unlock chapters over time (like Episode). Choices, however, has alternate endings to the stories based on if you’re willing to pay for gems to make the story better. My point is that this game only has one real thing going for it: you don’t have to pay to get a good story ending. If the developers actually look at these reviews, I hope you take my thoughts into consideration. ### 4/5 — Stunning *2019-02-17, version 1.7.2* This game is so beautiful! The animation and everything is simply gorgeous! ...but waiting 24 hours for energy that only allows 5 choices is excessive. Even if it was 12 hours, I would get that. My suggestion would be to make a one time purchasable upgrade to make daily energy charge in fewer hours, or to increase the daily allowance of energy. I’m sure you guys would make tons off of that! ### 3/5 — Great story but not give enough “energy” to enjoy *2019-01-12, version 1.7.2* Love the story and the pictures but the “energy” hardly gives you enough time to enjoy anything. it kind of ruins the flow of the story because i get five minutes of reading at most per day. i usually don’t mind paying for extra stuff in games but i think it would be useless if the energy will run out quickly anyways. if it can be restored every few hours or so instead of once a day that would be equally as great. besides the energy problem, everything else is great. ### 4/5 — Good game *2018-12-26, version 1.7.2* The game is fantastic and amazing. I love the artwork and storyline. I’m honestly surprised I haven’t had to pay for anything yet because of how well this game was made. The only thing that is bad in my opinion is the energy. You get 100 energy per day at 6pm, this is the only time you get energy. And with every choice you get to pick, it takes up 20 energy. This means you only get to play for a very short time, at most 10 minutes. I wish I could play for much longer than that. ### 3/5 — Great app, but..... *2018-12-26, version 1.7.2* I am really confused right now. First of all, you (the developers) need to keep this app updated, and generally update the status of the app (for example on social media), it’s like you released this app and then you were like “ok whatever happens happens”. You haven’t posted anything since 2017. I am really trying hard to figure out the changes in the updated version. What I am trying to say is, for example I see all these codes on Instagram for free energy and I can’t find anywhere on the game and/or the settings the section where I enter those codes so I concluded that this feature has been changed or taken down, and there was no post or no update that referenced that. So my request is to at least update frequently the app or its status on social media so people don’t get lost and confused. Other than that this app is really great and that’s exactly why it wouldn’t be neglected. Sorry if they are any grammatical mistakes, please note that my first language isn’t English. Each choice you make is 20 energy you only get 100 so that’s 5 choices and you only get refills at 6pm. The other choice games I play they give you more energy every couple hours or they give you keys every couple hours. The game also assumes you and everyone around you is straight. I'm so tired of these interactive stories not having any diversity or female love interests. Queer gamers are out here too you know! ***UPDATED*** Demoted to one star because of energy crisis. 5 "actions" a day, and some of those actions are "go to bed"???? Are you actually kidding me????? Is this so people won’t remember where they left off or what was happening by the time they can make another choice again? Is this an attempt to obfuscate the fact that the writing is terrible and there is barely any content here? What a pathetic transparent cash grab. Don’t waste your time or money. ### 1/5 — Lost everything... *2019-08-20, version 1.7.2* First off, I love this game it's fun, the plot is interesting, and overall good. But it stopped loading for some strange reason and the FAQ said to uninstall and reinstall, so I did... but ALL my progress is gone now. I don't mind the progress loss too much though, it's the fact that I had just spent $3.99 on the game and now that's gone too. I really do hope this problem is fixed otherwise I don't think I'll continue to play for fear of losing my money again. (And yes I know I can play for free.) The energy level and length is poor and takes about 12 hours or so to replenish, for that I give 1 star. Also, it is very expensive to purchase energy. The graphics are pretty cool too, but the reason I giving it only two stars is because I feel that the amount of energy for what you pay is too low. I’ve already put in almost 15 to 20 bucks and only got to chapter 4! I understand that the developer wants to make some money and I feel it is deserved considering how cool the game is but 20 energy pts per decision is a bit excessive. Maybe lower it to 4 or 10 at least. I would keep playing cause I love it but I’m going to have to uninstall soon cause I simply can’t afford it. The animation, the characters, the plot, it probably the best roleplaying/story game I’ve ever played. HOWEVER, the little amount of energy the player has access to is an issue. I’ve downloaded this game about a year ago and deleted it days after because it took so long to get energy. It takes 24 hours to get energy, and that’s just too long. Not only that, but the free energy you get is only enough for about 5 choices, which is about only 3 minutes of gameplay a day. I know that there needs to be in-app purchases to keep this game free. I can tell it’s very well-made and that a lot of effort was put into it. But the amount of energy we receive daily is very unmotivating. I recommend making the time interval for energy renewal smaller (4-5 hours), giving the player more energy every renewal, making the choices cost less energy, or giving the option to do free offers (such as taking surveys, watching videos, sharing the app, etc.) ### 3/5 — Lost memory and there’s no recovery. *2021-05-16, version 1.7.2* I spent hours on this game. It’s so attaching, beautiful and a mixture of things. I realized that I haven’t played the game for a few months, so I came back to it… only to be instantly disappointed by one thing. My progress was lost. I never deleted the game or did anything of the sort. Which baffles me why this has happened. I don’t even remember what chapter in the story I got up to, so that doesn’t help either. From what little I remember, I can say what point I passed. But that’s just spoilers so I’ll avoid that. But please, I would really appreciate a way I could get all my progress back. I don’t want to play it all over again, including how atrocious the energy system is to accompany it. ### 3/5 — It’s overall a good game *2020-03-17, version 1.7.2* The game is pretty fun! The way you approach different situations give you different outcomes. The only critics i have are that there needs to be more energy. One decision takes away 10 energy and you only have 100. So I can only make 10 decisions and then i have to either buy more energy or wait till the next day. And i wish there was an option to single out the gender you prefer because i hate talking to guys and never having the option to decline their requests to go somewhere. Oh yeah, you can’t decline requests to go somewhere! Which gets really annoying. 😂so i guess two complaints turned into 3 but i would recommend getting this game. It has some great characters and storylines. ### 3/5 — great storyline but disappointing *2019-10-12, version 1.7.2* This game is super fun and i absolutely love the story line, however it is extremely annoying because you only get 100 energies a day and it costs about 20 energy per choice. This means that you get about 5 choices a day, which is about 2-3 minutes or less of playing the game, and it takes a full 24 hours to get more energy. If you want to actually enjoy the game, then you will have to buy a ton more energy which I find to be very irritating. I think there should be other ways to get energy like it refills every hour or so, or you could watch an add to get more energy, and there could still be the option to pay so they they will still make a profit off of the game. I typically never write reviews about anything but I felt like I should just because it would be such an amazing game if you could get energy faster. The storyline is great and I wish that I could read a chapter in one sitting without having to pay money for it. ### 3/5 — It’s a good game but energy needs some work ! *2019-07-13, version 1.7.2* This game is amazing. The storyline and the graphics is great. However, I find it annoying when I have to wait till 6:00 pm to get more energy. That just makes the game pointless if players can only play snippets of the game at a time. I think it would be to add an option to watch an ad to gain more energy if they don’t want to pay. You can only play for about 30 minutes a day and then wait another day before you can play for another 30 minutes. Other romance simulation games will let you watch ads for energy or will allow energy to replenish over time. Then I was able to log back in. Now all the data I had is completely gone cause the app hasn’t updated. That’s just lame to be honest. These episodes take forever to get through now I’m from the middle of episode 9 back to the beginning of episode 6. I don’t want to play anymore. Later... Honestly I’m so glad I came back to the story. I have learned so much about the characters and the MC. Putting it off is what makes it better and more meaningful. The storyline is unique, each character has their own backstory, and the art is absolutely beautiful. It’s clear the team put a lot of time into the design aspect of the app, as the game is incredibly visually appealing. Really wish this was able to be continued but I know Ubisoft has other projects. It was always such a treat to get the notifications for new episodes! To the devs: where did those iMessage stickers go? Am I just missing them when I search in the store? I loved them and still have the app installed, so I thought I would still have them, but I looked and to my dismay, I can’t seem to find them on my phone or in the store anymore with the latest update. They were really charming and fun to use, can you please bring them back?
