As a Welland resident and developer, I like the idea behind this app. It gives residents one place for news, issue reporting, events, contacts, and online services. That is useful.

The home screen is simple, but the priorities feel a bit off. Actions like Report an Issue, Online Services, Parking, and Public Notices should stand out more. Social Media probably does not need its own main button; it could just live under Contact or as footer links.

From a tester’s point of view, some screens need better mobile QA. Pages like Careers feel less responsive and more web-view driven. If this is mostly loading web content, the team should test layout, spacing, scrolling, and tap targets across common iPhone sizes.

Overall, this is a good foundation with real potential. The next step should be making it less of a content wrapper and more of a service app: tax lookup, utility payments, permit tracking, request status, and personalized notifications.

Verdict: useful, but still early. Good intent, decent structure, but it needs sharper priorities, stronger mobile polish, and more resident-service value.
