It keeps buffering, I’ve left the app open for a few minutes on several occasions but it never loads when I upload a photo. ### 2/5 — Lack of security *2024-06-07* The app works fine, but it is not possible to lock it with Face ID or even a code. Also their communication is terrible. Once they contacted me to ask about a repair in the flat from the previous tenant, and sent someone without waiting for a response, so I didn’t know why they came and turned them away. They then told me their housekeeping reported scratches on the kitchen mirror - completely false, with no evidence or verification for me, and they are taking away my deposit and not responding either to my messages or to calls on the helpline. Avoid if you can, they are either inept or scammers! ### 1/5 — Too many problems with the app *2023-03-28* The concept of integrating all the services into one device is a great idea, but there are too many little things that doesn’t work consistently. For instance, you’ll be locked out of the door for no reason at all and reaching the city pop service can be a hassle sometimes. Also, if you want to request to book your washer or dryer, it won’t work despite none of the machines are being used. The worst problem is they are aware of this situation and told the residents its been fixed but the problem isn’t solved and delay happens which means the resident wont be using the washer for another couple more days. This is disastrous despite they are aware of the situation and not being able to solve the real problem and informing falsely to the residents that the problem has been fixed. And this continues to happen. Not sure why they can’t fix the little things that really annoy the residents to live in the city pop. They don’t realize how those little things can affect the resident’s daily lives. If those little things wouldn’t annoy me that much, I would have gave 5 stars. The app is actually designed for smartphone. Could you please try City Pop App on your iPhone and if everything run smooth it would be really appreciated to change the review score from you :) ### 1/5 — Bad App and Worse Service *2022-09-07, version 2.2.9* This business mod is all about taking your money via a cheap bookinf and then failing to fully service you as a paying customer. DO NOT download and DO NOT book. The studio accommodations are dark sweatboxes with no light, windows or ventilation. Nobody wi reply to you on the app when attempting to communicate. Upon attempting to log into the app, it said that I needed to update to the latest version which I did. But it still does not work. My phone is also on the latest iOS version so there is no reason why this app shouldn’t be working. There is definitely a major IT problem at City Pop. ### 1/5 — Lots of Challenges & Opportunities *2025-01-16* City Pop is a great concept. Locations are generally good, but the level of customer service is NOT GOOD. Examples: - App: does not always work for checking in. Everything is based on the app. You have a problem, submit a support ticket on the app. This includes such things as apartment not clean upon check in, common halllways dirty thus will track in dirt to apartment, some gym equipment not working, expresso machine does not have PODs that fit the machine available for sale in the same city, - Reponses to issues: We will alert housekeeping, maintenance, do a search for pods you're on youre own. Nothing was resolved. Ref expresso machine, why does City Pop have expresso maching in apartment if no pods are available for purchase in that city?? - On positive side, location is good for transportation, grocerty stores, short term rental concept is good. ### 1/5 — Citypop MILANO *2024-12-07* servizi di pulizia scarsi, sporcizia dappertutto nel corridoio, negli ascensori, piante sporche di polvere. ### 1/5 — Inexistant client service *2024-12-04* If you have a request that is not programmed in the application, you won’t get a proper follow up for your request whether is positive or negative. Vey frustrating to communicate only on the app. The telephone assistance is as well very limited if you get the chance of being picked up. Sehr schlecht entwickelt ### 1/5 — App non-functional, Support non-existent *2024-08-22* I am set to be staying with city pop starting tomorrow - though based off my experience with the app, I am quite concerned. Half of the time, the app won’t even load. When I originally tried to pay for the “pop” it wouldn’t process the payment for close to a month before i was finally able to get through. Being that I need to check in tomorrow and the app won’t even open, I don’t know what to do. Also, there is not a single email or phone number to contact for support, so I had to resort to leaving a poor review on the app as I feel thats the only way I could get through to a real person. Clean and very convenient. Staff are very helpful and we been here over two months and there’s no big issues. CityPop has clearly proved to be the best solution for newcomers (quick booking, booking extension in two clicks…). The concept and especially the service are of an extreme quality (New flats, great design, with all the services at disposal). The staff is also friendly and do listen.
