I am also annoyed by the reduced vehicles available in the Dominion Rd area in Auckland. There used to be so many more pick up points, that’s disappointing. After saying they will send one soon, nothing was sent. Had to arrange alternative transport. Tried multiple times with cityhop customer care number and no response. They when finally able to hold them. They said it will take 5 days because issue with APP ### 1/5 — CANT USE THE APP *2026-08-06, version 6.1.0* Never got the verification code. called customer service and was told a ticket was opened. tried again a week later, still not getting any code. The app is now technically unusable. Had to waste my time filling up. Support replied with excuses. Even after you enter the number it says not valid. Really frustrating not user friendly… won’t be recommending anyone to use this service ### 1/5 — Awful company.. don’t sign up! *2026-06-01, version 6.1.0* Our vehicle was in awful condition with a broken tail light, damaged bumpers and it also made a loud rattling noise when driving on the highway. After moving our furniture, we tried to return the vehicle but the battery died. Then I spent 2 hours sorting things out with customer support and a towing company, who failed to jumpstart the van due to the battery issues. After this whole ordeal, I then get charged a penalty fee for returning the vehicle late! This company is an absolute joke and should be avoided at all costs. ### 1/5 — Bad app design *2026-05-29, version 6.1.0* When logging in it say enter code but never sends a code. But real disappointing service when you switch phone and the system doesn’t send you an authentication code. Known issue but Cityhop didn’t advise customers and no way for them to resolve manually. So i’m left unable to use their service with vague promise to be resolved in the future. ### 1/5 — If I could give negative stars I would *2026-05-28, version 6.1.0* Entire system is based on verification codes which don’t send. Asked the help team who told me to uninstall and reinstall the APP which only made the situation worse. As now need a code for new device. No timeframe for a fix, No workaround.
