Extremely useless app, I tried booking a ride it showed available in 5 mins, then it tells you to add the credit card details and pay to the wallet in advance. By the time I did all that the ride was full and I never got to use that wallet money. Now I tried using it at a later time and this I got the booking but the data and time is not at all real time I had to wait for an additional 10 to 15 mins in the heat. The monthly pass is 100% not worth it, they keep promising that they allocated a van close to you but you never get a ride. Regretting that. 

The other stuff or for a ride when available its fine.

Citylink is the Worst – Completely Unreliable and Frustrating

I’m beyond frustrated with Citylink. Today I started trying to book at 4 PM, finally got a ride at 6 PM, and the pickup is at 7 PM. That’s 3 hours of standing outside in this extreme summer heat. Do you expect people to wait this long every single day?

And this is happening every day now — I’ve been suffering for a whole week, wasting 4 to 5 hours daily just to get one ride. It’s mentally and physically exhausting.

To make things worse, for a morning trip to Al Barsha by 9:30 AM, Citylink expects me to book at 5:00 AM. Are you serious? What kind of service is this? Do you think people don’t sleep or have lives outside this app?

Your service is a total failure. No planning, no punctuality, no concern for the passengers. Just false promises and a broken system that leaves people stranded every single day.

If you can’t handle the demand, stop misleading people. Fix this broken system or shut it down completely. It’s causing more harm than good.

When you absolutely have to be somewhere on time, use other transportation. Constantly receiving “due to unforeseen circumstance” pick-up is delayed, sometimes by a couple of minutes, sometimes longer, sometimes delays compound so its more than 40 minutes later than first advertised. If the algorithms and AI worked this would be a great service. As it is, I’ve got time to write long reviews like this waiting for my delayed pick-up.

I recommend no one to take the subscription as the concern team will never provide the proper resolution and every day when you tried to book the ride it will shows fully booked and as per there policy no supervisor will call us only the agent with it proper knowledge

This is the worst service I have ever seen 2-3hrs we have to sit and search for bus even though we don’t find the bus always showing full full asking us to take weekly package and monthly package but no use they just take our money no service or no refund

I personally love the concept and very useful but i would recommend to add an option that the  passenger can also see the real route which driver will follow as i can see now it is only showing a direct line and if passenger wants to see the route should only experience it while driving.

Such an amazing app. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks to come back home from uni and have had no complaints at all. I do suggest adding a widget to track how far the driver is to my location as an iOS user. It’s my favorite feature in apps like Careem where I can track how long my driver will take to reach my location even when I’m not on the app.
