Sometimes I’ll just be scrolling down an article and I’m sent back to the beginning. Recently, your site automatically launch the mobile app, and the historical values is no where to be found in it. Today’s article says there was a train derailment on the Bow River, but it’s not the Bow River at all. When you try to submit a correction, nothing happens and it never gets submitted. You fill out all the information and it just takes you to the top of the page when you click submit, with all the information in the fields you just filled out vanished. It’s like a bunch of teens run this site. ### 1/5 — Drop offs *2026-05-08* This app takes a while to connect. You have to go through multiple steps in order to get to the radio, then it’s constantly cutting in and out or cutting out altogether, forcing you to constantly reconnect. Sometimes it feels like you’re better off just turning on a radio (if you still have one) instead of the app. ### 1/5 — Poor Advice-update to new version…😕 *2026-03-23* Unable to play the”City News” app as it was telling me to UPDATE to the “new version”. Needless to say as old version was inoperable, I tried to UPDATE to the new version and to my surprise I got a message telling me my phone was to old and I would have to download the old version.😳 Guess what? Not sure if it is an issue with every city, but the trans Canada Highway was literally closed today going through a national park and into another province, and there was no story about it. It has been eight hours now, the highway is still not open, and there’s still no story about it in the Calgary news. When I tried to notify the editor in the app, it just vibrated and shook, and it was not possible to submit a report. Pretty lousy news app that has no updates over Saturday and Sundays.
