## What is CityWalker?

How many streets in your city have you actually walked?

CityWalker is the every single street challenge in your pocket: walk all the streets in your city, and watch your street coverage map fill in, one walk at a time.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add your city. Every walkable street is loaded from OpenStreetMap. Large cities download by area, so you only get what you need.
2. Tap GO. GPS tracks your walk in the background, even with the screen off.
3. Watch your street coverage grow. Every street you walk lights up on the map, so you can see at a glance what's done and what's left. After each walk, see exactly what you gained: new streets, distance, and percentage.

FEATURES

• Street coverage map: walked and unwalked streets side by side, with your coverage percentage always one glance away.
• Plan a walk with new streets: get a suggested loop from where you are, or pick a destination. Choose Direct for the shortest way, Scenic for a balanced route, or Explore to cover as many unwalked streets as possible, and see what share of the route is new before you set off.
• Accurate street matching: sidewalks, curved roads, and repeat routes are handled, so the street you walked is the street that counts.
• You're in control: long-press the map to mark or unmark any street yourself.
• GPX import: bring in past walks from Strava, Garmin, Komoot, and others, up to 100 files at a time. CityWalker detects the city for you. Download it, and your imported walks are matched to its streets.
• Walk details: every walk shows the streets that counted, the ones you almost covered, and what's still unwalked nearby.
• Your journey: your full walk history, stats, and milestones, as your city fills in.
• Any city, many cities: add as many as you like and switch with a tap. Big cities are split into regions.
• Share cards: share any walk, or your city and region coverage progress, as a ready-made image.
• View on computer: scan a QR code to see your coverage on a bigger screen, end-to-end encrypted.
• Live Activity: your walk’s distance and time on the Lock Screen, with a Stop button.

WHO IT'S FOR

Walkers, runners, dog walkers, and anyone who wants a reason to turn down a street they have never been on. Whether you are taking on the every single street challenge, chasing 100% coverage of your city, or just exploring a new neighbourhood, CityWalker tracks every street you cover and turns every outing into progress.

• Refresh one region at a time: tap ↻ next to a downloaded region to get its latest streets. Your walks and coverage are kept.
• Adding a city: everyone now gets the same border for a town, the location button finds the town you're in, and it tells you if you already have it under another name.
• More streets count: footpaths set back from a road, tracks open to walkers, stand-alone cycle paths in the Netherlands, old-town alleys in Norway, and streets with a pavement in Russia and Belarus.
• Select a whole street at once on a walk's map.
• Long walks open and share quickly, and refreshing a city's map is faster.

Missing region at walk start
Starting a walk in a region of your city you haven’t downloaded now says so, with a button to download it while you walk.

Fixes
• Walks that stop by themselves after a long pause now save reliably.
