## What is Civic Champs?

Civic Champs helps nonprofits and volunteers seamlessly track and record volunteer and mentoring hours. Our app provides multiple ways for volunteers and mentors to track their hours using Civic champs.

The app uses location and notifications to alert you when you arrive at an event. You can track and submit your hours with just a couple of taps on your screen. You can also track hours that are not associated with a specific location by using the Log Other Hours tool.

The app uses the phone's location to detect when a volunteer has arrived at an event. The volunteer receives a notification asking if they are there to volunteer, and in a few taps, their hours tracked seamlessly.

If there is no event near the volunteer or forgot their phone at home, volunteers can also enter hours they have previously volunteered through the Log Other Hours feature. Additionally, nonprofits administrators can turn on the Kiosk mode for users to check-in and out on their own, or they can use their in-app admin tools to check-in or out any volunteer with just a few taps.

I work for a local nonprofit called "HopeBUILDERS". We are primarily volunteer led and needed a tool to track hours that was intuitive. Civic Champs has been an amazing tool for our nonprofit. The ease of setup and implementation has been a smooth transition. Reporting is simple and users can easily login to signup for a volunteer activity that fits their schedules. Love the text feature.

As a volunteer, using the Civic Champs app was by far the simplest experience I’ve had. 

In the majority of my experiences, the volunteering process has been much more disorganized (trying to find the right person on-site to check in, figuring out what I’m supposed to be doing & where I’m supposed to go). With Civic Champs everything I needed was all on the app within a matter of a couple clicks.
