## What is Civic Politics?

Civic puts your government in the palm of your hand. Find your elected representatives with their contact information, offices, and districts on an interactive map covering 37 states and growing. Based on your location, Civic will calculate who your representatives are (federal, state, and local rolling out city by city).

Follow the legislation that affects you on the Bills page: browse and search bills from Congress and state legislatures, see who's sponsoring them, filter to bills sponsored by your own representatives, and react to the ones you care about.

DISCLAIMER: This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government entity. Civic is an independent platform designed to help citizens engage with their elected officials using publicly available information.

DATA SOURCES: All government information in Civic comes from official government sources. Federal representatives and bills: congress.gov, house.gov, senate.gov, whitehouse.gov. State representatives and officials: each state's official legislature and executive-branch websites (e.g., nysenate.gov, assembly.ca.gov, capitol.texas.gov, house.mi.gov, ilga.gov). City officials: official city government websites (e.g., nyc.gov, lacity.gov, chicago.gov, houstontx.gov, phoenix.gov). District maps: the U.S. Census Bureau (census.gov) and the city governments above. Full source list: civicpolitics.com/sources

### 1/5 — Inconsistent

*2026-05-19*

The app doesn’t seem to know who my representative are, I have to search it up because the information that was given to me on the app was incorrect.

### 5/5 — Perfect simplicity

*2026-05-08*

Still poking around in the app but so far it has made it so easy to see who is our representative and show the lines drawn for how our district looks. Most people probably have no idea

### 5/5 — Looking forward to using this app

*2025-12-26*

Interesting concept and I’m excited for information to continue being added.

### 3/5 — New Download- Little info so far

*2025-12-24*

I’m excited that this app was created. I am looking forward to more info being added. I think voting records of representatives, committees they are on and issues they focus on should be added. And of course, waiting for smaller municipalities to be added. Looks great so far, keep up the good work.
