Headed to the app, but no statements on here. All on the website instead. ### 1/5 — 0 stars would be more appropriate! *2025-08-18, version 4.1* Cant see my ABS despite having an email from CSP saying my ABS is ready. CSPS app only tells me what pension scheme I am currently enrolled in, no other info, nothing about my previous scheme or any previous years data. So far this app has been a complete waste of time and entirely unhelpful! ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time *2025-07-16, version 4.1* Not quite sure why they still have this in the app store. It has virtually none of the functionality of the web site, so if you’re wanting to use it to try and keep sane by checking your retirement forecast whilst despairing of the nightmare that often comes with being a civil servant , this is just going to taunt you with its inability to deliver. Unfortunately that facility is no longer available. As a CSPS member, I suggest that you either restore the facility, or abandon the App as it serves no useful purpose. ### 1/5 — Abandonware *2025-05-06, version 4.1* App appears to have been abandoned by CSPS and the developer. It was never good to begin with, as it has always had a clunky and hard-to-use UI, but it at least did a very basic job. But it hasn’t been updated in 3 years and previous functionality has either been removed in the interim or has simply fallen away. For example, it isn’t possible any longer to view any annual benefit statements (permanent “check later” error) and the retirement modeller is gone completely from the menu. It basically no longer has any useful functionality whatsoever. If the app isn’t going to be maintained any longer and users pushed to the web portal, then fine, but it shouldn’t be available to download and “use” the app if that’s the case. ### 1/5 — Useless *2025-05-02, version 4.1* Changed password dozens of times but just get error message when I try to log in. Written to CSP numerous times but no response. No idea what to do next. If CS has ditched it and now it’s only online via portal, then be honest and say so! Or, fix the app ASAP! Zero service, including reporting it by phone call and email to CSP. The app is appalling quality and the website is not much better. The team behind the app and website needs to put more work into offering a good service to its customers. I will raise this with my local union and employer as it is near impossible to contact the pensions team. No payslips or P60s accessible so will continue to use the main website. Disappointed ☹️ Update - thanks to the Developers tweaking, the app now shows my payslips and P60s!! Now much easier to update my details. Yes it’s a little dated but functionally it’s pretty good; it looks better in dark mode. I’ve had no problem logging in on the app or the website. Don’t expect to be blown away by a tech fest but it’s decent; not all my mates have access to this info from their company scheme… ### 4/5 — Needs a polish ! *2020-11-22* Good to have an app to check ones account. However, it appears impossible to return to Death Benefit Nominations (in order to simply check or change) without deleting nominations made previously. **Developer response:** Hi Anooxi Thanks very much for your review. You should be able to view your saved nominations at any time. Please note that your nominations will only save if they total 100% - anything over or under won’t save. If you want add a new one, you will need to amend the existing ones first - so you effectively need to create an unallocated %. You can do that by deleting a nomination or amending the % allocated; hope that all makes sense. You can always contact the Contact Centre on 0300 790 0590. But at the moment, cannot view any benefit statements. message received: Your Annual Benefit Statement is not yet available. For information about when your benefit statement will be available please click here. I am happy that my latest benefit statement is not yet available. But what about the earlier annual statements. I cannot obtain any details from the app. Previously I can always see earlier years back to around 2019. Now nothing. Also Face ID is a bit hit and miss. I keep getting asked if I want to set up Face ID and say yes. However next time I log in I get asked again. I’ve just re-downloaded the app as Apple offloaded it. And the Face ID seems to be working more reliably now. But as above there is no scheme info showing. Also it would be good to have an up to date partial retirement calculator. The one on the website only allows for classic or legacy schemes. ### 2/5 — Retirement Modeller *2025-06-01, version 4.1* I am unable to access the Retirement Modeller on the app. I am accessing with an iPhone. Portal works ok through both google and safari. ### 2/5 — CSPS App *2025-02-26, version 4.1* I have recently recently officially retired from the Civil Service and not been able to access the portal as it keep rejecting my password. Can’t get hold of the people on line so someone has just told me that I need to access the portal via this App. However my new phone cannot download the app due to being an older version. Is that true?
