Please work on those bugs as this game cannot be played without their resolution!!! It’s an amazing game so please work on this. The problem I have seen consistently with this game is that it crashes when you do a restart. Why? I restart a map anytime it is a lopsided map where the natural wonders are slim to none on my map area and abundant on the CPU’s side. Playing this on the easiest level as well. Not sure but 1 out of 10 times when I restart it doesn’t crash the app. That doesn’t make me want to play. Also, cloud saves seemed to stop working. But prince is too easy so there's never a point where the game feels both challenging and fair. Drag to move unit creates accidental moves when the map is also drag to move & is redundant with a move command, need option to disable. Maps supposedly similar to real world are inaccurate. Lots of overly complex systems all badly explained if at all, but doesn't matter military > everything anyways. ### 2/5 — Controller support *2025-08-09, version 1.5.1* Will rate higher with controller support ### 2/5 — Why does this not have all the DLC? *2025-07-30* So, actually read through this because while I do appreciate the thought Netflix had with this, I find it really annoying that it doesn’t have *all* the dlc. Further, I find it annoying that I can’t even *add* the rest of the dlc. So I find myself reaching for strategies that don’t work, but the only way to get what my brain now considers the “full” game is to pay for everything anyway. So I either have to pay for everything (thus rendering Netflix’s offering meaningless) or play a *just barely* not complete game feeling like there’s very fine sand grating on my brain. It’s just baffling why they would only provide *most* of the dlc and, again, very frustrating. **Developer response:** Thank you for your review. I could spend hours and hours on this game. Unfortunately I can’t because the way it has been developed it is not stable on mobile platforms. I play on a recent iPad and everything time I do anything (save game, make edits, open another app, get a notification from another app) the game crashes and I need to restart. My app is updated, that doesn’t help. I have had various iterations of this game for several years, and this problem continues to plague it. I have issues with tile tooltip positioning, and inability to see full text of a policy… otherwise, it’s amazing. ### 5/5 — Would give 10 stars if I could *2025-08-05* THIS, my friends, is the app you’ve always wanted!—a bug-free, unabridged, full PC version of Civ VI, miraculously stuffed into a mobile app PLUS a dozen expansion packs In my opinion, all the negative reviews are from old geysers who don’t understand how to use newfangled tech, from people with 20 year old phones, and/or are from people new to Civilization VI: 1. My 2018 iPhone runs this game at buttery smooth fps 2. The controls are completely intuitive to me and I have yet to encounter a single bug. I can’t imagine how much work went into fine-tuning the touch controls as I’ve never had such a great touchscreen experience on any other app 3. There’s tons of expansion packs enabled by default, ya dummies. I personally turned off the Rise and Fall expansion pack to simplify game play. If you’re 100% new to Civ VI, I highly recommend turning off all expansion packs until you get used to the game. Very frustrating having to do watch YouTube videos and search the web to figure every little stupid made up stat to play a single successful game. The tutorial could use some updating and I wish they used a bigger UI when using a tablet or casting to a big screen because it works on the phone with such little space but you’re missing out on easily accessible info but considering the price for all this content on PC is around $100 this is a good deal and the base price on PC is crazy.
