## Most critical reviews (6 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — I wasted 1500円 on this app.

*2023-12-11, version 1.7.1*

Downloaded this for the convenience of learning Chinese, and for translating simple words and phrases, offline on an iPad.

The UI is a barren wasteland- plenty of empty space while the search results are cramped in a short space that drops below the input bar.
For a "comprehensive" dictionary, the lack of example sentences is disheartening.

You'd be better off with another app, or even a mobile browser, for both better content and readability.
There are cheaper and even free apps out there that put this app to shame.

### 1/5 — Can't Run normally.

*2012-12-28, version 1.1*

CJKI Comprehensive Chinese Dictionary

I buy this App but can't run normally!
I run the App but it close screen quickly after opening screen show. I can see the App icon show on the bottom area which show App Running but I can't open it.
How can I use it on my device iPad 2 (IOS 6.01) on Chinese Tradition Language.

### 4/5 — 學習效果頗佳

*2017-03-22, version 1.4*

不過可加英語聲音模塊供購買嗎 最好連例句也有英語讀音 謝謝😊

### 4/5 — Solid dictionary

*2013-03-29*

Interface is great and fast. A lot simpler than Pleco but not quite as expansive. Great examples! Worth it if you can afford it, add-ons for traditional characters knocks off one star.

### 5/5 — Delight to see this update

*2017-01-26*

I am very happy to see this update. The interface is now adapted to the IOS 10, not to mention that the module of Chinese speech becomes free. A thanks to the developers.

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2013-02-22, version 1.1.1*

I've been studying Chinese seriously for years and tried lots of
dictionary apps, including expensive ones. I really like this app because
it's got so many features, like switching from simplified to traditional,
lots of examples, and even audio for all words. Just about every word I
look for, even rare words, I find. It's one of the best tools I've used
for studying Chinese so far.
