So I was out on a hike and wanted to remote start my car but when I pulled up the app it was expired and it wanted all my information and credit card agin, which I didn't have on me. Now I'm trying to renew but when I click on renew it's stuck on "please wait" ### 3/5 — Renewal Bust *2025-01-06, version 4.4.14* The app worked very well when I had it installed. Once I paid for the renewal the app does not start the car. It now takes several attempts to no avail. It’s like the communication is disrupted. But now the watch keeps telling me to “login using the CL6 app on your iPhone or iPad device.” I am logged in on my phone. That hasn’t changed. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it’s still the same. Much faster than some OEM apps for remote start/lock/unlock. But several times per week it’s like the car won’t connect over the network. Not sure if it’s a low cell signal on my car, or if it’s a server issue on the app’s side. Also, the GPS feature does not work very well and often says it GPS too low like it can’t get a signal. Overall, great when it works. It stopped working and I can never send a request to help because the “server is down”. I have email support over and over again. No response. It can still lock and unlock. And I can still turn the car on using 3 clicks on the remote. But this app can no longer turn my car on. The fact that it will let you lock it in the first place with the fob in there and not unlock it is ridiculous. Other than that, I do like the remote start feature, it works well on my phone and watch. But due to the unlock flaw, I’m going to rip this thing out of my vehicle and put in something better like Compustar. ### 1/5 — Dont buy! *2025-02-05, version 4.4.14* There are more reliable companies out there, not only was I having issues while using the app when I had this device on my ford, but I stopped using it for a few and after I wanted to use it again they permanently disabled the device. Then after the one year free trial was done I purchased a 2 year extension. Then the app worked about 20% of the time. Now after a year and a half it does not work at all. I emailed customer service and they responded days later but were no help. Called support line and representative was rude and blamed the equipment. The first year of service that comes included with the purchase of the module works very well, but I made the mistake of renewing it for two years on one of my cars, and after the renewal, I started having problems. For about four months now, it hasn't worked with the phone; it has completely lost the signal. I contacted customer service, and they told me that the system needed to be updated, which they supposedly did, but the issue persists. I reported it again over a month ago, but they never responded. So now I'm stuck with this system. My only 3 complaints is the lack of installation instructions, perhaps build them into the app? And while it’s great it integrates with Alexa and google, sadly there is no Siri compatibility yet I’d like to see that. And my only other complaint is while the GPS locate feature is great, it does not have the capacity to track the car from the built in map. I’d like to see a option to either show the cars location AND your phones location and be able to get navigation directions, OR a button to open the cars location in Apple/Google maps and do it from there. ### 5/5 — Really cool app! *2023-12-08, version 4.4.13* This app works even better than most OEM vehicle apps out there. In conjunction they have worked flawlessly; aside from the couple times it didn’t have service, I assume and it not showing anything while at a couple locations.
