For the last year, I have had reliability issues where the cellular module totally disconnect from the network. The only option is to get to the module to disconnect it and reconnect it, mind you, this is in a hard to reach location in the trunk. There was no way to remotely restart the module. The app continuously disconnects from the module and the servers as well. Technical support is as helpful as they can be, but ultimately they’re usually isn’t much they can do as they end up having to reach out to the cellular providers for deeper investigation, troubleshooting, and assistance. Additionally, there is no Apple Watch app for this as originally marketed, and as all the original depictions and pictures show. There is also other missing functionality as other users have listed out clearly. So far, I’m not too happy with the app or with the cellular connectivity because it is all too unreliable and frustrating to work with. ### 1/5 — Bait and switch *2025-09-16, version 1.2.6* They advertise Alexa support but do not actually have it ### 3/5 — App worked ok for 4 months now doesn’t work at all. *2025-09-14* The app worked great for 4 months then 3 days ago the app just stopped working. No work done to my car and have never had electrical issues. No low battery either. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I installed the remote start myself and it was easy to follow the instructions. Like I said the remote start with the CL7 iPhone app worked great until 3 days ago. Oh and no phone issues recently either. And I do mean constantly every 19 seconds b it on top of that it doesn’t have the Apple Watch support that it promised. Both lights on module are on blue/green. Still will not connect. Call to tech support. Hopefully they will respond. I’m not going through this every few months. I’ll send it back for a refund and go back to the Toyota app, that one always worked. Well three weeks later and still not working. N2 Designs dumped me back on the app people. N2D told me they were “monitoring” the module and it could take a while to resolve. I have a resolve, It’s broken, kaput, busted. Purchasing it from 12 Volt solutions is nice cause it is all plug-in. The unlock, lock, and remote start all work perfectly and the GPS location works like a charm! There is also a status page that shows doors unlocked, doors open, hood open, trunk open(if you have a trunk), battery voltage, current vehicle running status(whether the vehicle is off or not), and more! However the Apple Watch and Voice assistant functionality is still not here.
