## What is ClaimDock?

ClaimDock helps you keep purchase deadlines from slipping away.

Add a purchase, scan or enter the receipt details, and ClaimDock organizes the dates that matter: return windows, price-match windows, warranty coverage, extended warranty notes, and claim details.

This update adds Claim Plan: a local action timeline and contact script for each purchase. The plan turns readiness, deadlines, policy notes, and missing evidence into a clear checklist you can copy or share before contacting a store or manufacturer.

Claim Readiness still gives every purchase a practical score and checklist that shows whether it has the evidence most people need before contacting a store or manufacturer. ClaimDock checks for receipt attachment, item details, model or serial numbers, retailer policy references, notes, active deadlines, and urgent windows. It then suggests clear next actions, such as attaching the receipt, adding a model number, or acting before a deadline closes.

ClaimDock 1.1 makes your return deadlines honest - and lets you take them anywhere.

Category-aware return windows. A deadline tracker is only useful if the deadline is right. Electronics, phones, and major appliances almost always have shorter return windows than general merchandise - so when you tag a purchase's category, ClaimDock now uses that retailer's window for *that* category instead of always assuming the most generous one. No more being told you have 90 days on a laptop the store only takes back for 30.

Custom return windows. Set your own return-window length on any purchase to match a printed receipt, a holiday extension, or a courtesy window from a store - ideal for shops that aren't in the built-in catalog. Your custom window always wins.

Add deadlines to your calendar. Export any purchase's deadlines as a standard .ics file and drop them straight into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or Outlook. Each deadline becomes an all-day event with a day-before reminder. Everything is created on your device - nothing is uploaded.

Smarter policy details. ClaimDock now shows why a window is shorter (e.g. "Electronics") and flags common restocking fees on phones and major appliances. The PDF claim packet now lists the purchase category, too.

Plus: refreshed retailer policy data for major U.S. retailers and the usual polish.
