## What is ClaimRight?

Not sure which UK benefits you qualify for? ClaimRight helps you find out in about 2 minutes, for free.

ClaimRight is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the UK government, any government department, GOV.UK, mygov.scot or nidirect.

Answer a few simple questions about your age, work, income, housing, family and health. ClaimRight checks them against published UK Government benefit rates for 2026/27 and shows what you may be entitled to, with estimated monthly values and a link to the official source for each one.

Benefits covered include Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction and disability disregards, PIP / Adult Disability Payment, Attendance Allowance, Carer's Allowance, Child Benefit, Free School Meals, Free Childcare, Healthy Start, Scottish Child Payment, Warm Home Discount, Winter Fuel, NHS Low Income Scheme, Budgeting Advance and Household Support Fund.

NEW: Tools and guides
- Life events: what to claim after a job loss, new baby, bereavement, health condition, turning 66 or a relationship ending
- Better off in work: how your Universal Credit changes if you take a job
- Carer earnings check, Deductions check and Self-employed check
- Who is in your home, Statutory pay, Bereavement help and State Pension gaps

Also: Money you might be missing (tax refunds, lost pensions, Child Trust Funds), Key dates with reminders, a savable plan, What if, and a clean PDF summary to share or email.

Tailored for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Figures and rules come from official sources: GOV.UK "Benefit and pension rates 2026 to 2027", mygov.scot, nidirect.gov.uk, the NHS, and postcodes.io (used only to find your local council).

No account needed. Your answers and any saved plan stay on your device, nothing is sent to us. Your postcode, if entered, is only used to find your local council and is never stored. Available in English and Welsh.

Results are estimates. Always verify and apply on the official government website. This app does not provide financial or legal advice.
