First of all idek how to find my basket and second of all it’s PAINFULLY slow!!! Please fix this and it’ll be five stars 😌 ### 1/5 — Unreliable Function *2024-12-25* This is in regards to the website as well: Constantly logs you out and cites “Mismatched Token.” This is with “Remember Me” enabled. Can’t return to search upon selecting an item page to look at. The search has to start over. As of now, not a single payment (Card, Apple, Klarna…) method goes through, and the site/app just redirects you to your cart. I had lost several important items in my cart hours ago due to payment failure, wherein several of said important items that I’ve been waiting for the chance to purchase went out of stock. Last week, I had another set of items in my cart to take advantage of the discount. I suddenly lost access to my cart despite being logged in, resulting in customer service contact resolution coming days later and the discount expiring. I requested some discount to match this, but they apparently aren’t allowed to give any. The promised C-Club “free gift” doesn’t exist. I’ve tried contacting stores around my area and they have no clue either. I had an item that broke upon opening. With the receipt, I contacted the customer service email. It took customer service over the course of 1-1.5 weeks just for them to instruct me to ‘Contact my store.’ SHEIN and Temu service agents are much more timely, replying within a few minutes or 2 days. Just… let me buy the items I want at the price I can afford… Hire a site designer who can fix the site, hire a developer who can fix the app… ### 1/5 — Terrible non working app *2024-12-07, version 7.0.0* This app is something I downloaded so I wouldn’t have to log on via safari to access my account and place orders. It’s an utter joke! It’s got my location and nearest store but to press on ANYTHING to either view products to purchase or to try and see any part of my account it either works so slowly it stops or never worked to begin with. Had to make a purchase via Safari TWICE because the app wouldn’t work at all, hasn’t let me log in either. Don’t see the point in it at all. Thought it was an Internet issue but went to try and track my order to no avail as yet again it did nothing when I clicked on anything on the app, so I’ll have to use Safari, which I wanted to avoid hence downloading this app in the first place. Do not recommend at all and will be uninstalling it after this review, appalled. ### 3/5 — Constantly have to login! *2024-12-01, version 7.0.0* Would be great if I didn’t have to login every time I click my account. ### 1/5 — Scam? *2024-10-03, version 7.0.0* I’ve been trying to order a pair of socks for a few days now. Every time I put in my credit card information, it would say the information wasn’t valid and to try again, which I did a few times. However, it is taking my money as if I had actually bought the socks even though it doesn’t let me? ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2024-09-20, version 7.0.0* Useless app. Completely pointless as it doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Does not work *2024-08-28, version 7.0.0* iPhone 12 user, this app does not function properly. You can’t open any of the options listed when you select account page. Nothing opens to view account, points balance, or to even register the account. It is not personalised in any way and even trying to select own store with location doesn’t work and stays as the default ‘Basildon’ branch. The ‘home’ page is the only section that works - but it’s just the Claire’s webpage which can be accessed via web. The app was useless to me. ### 1/5 — Rubbish! *2024-08-19, version 7.0.0* Trying to join the c club, already have an account to shop online. The buttons to join in the website do nothing when clicked and so as a last ditch attempt I have downloaded the app which is even worse than the website. Can’t log into my account as the buttons do nothing either. Does Claire’s have an online team? Why isn’t this being looked at as a matter of urgency? It completely puts me off bothering purchasing and am sure other customers will go elsewhere too. ### 2/5 — Clunky and inefficient *2024-07-31* This app is off to a decent start but there are so many things that could be better. First of all, there’s a pop up every 5 seconds and that gets really annoying. It’s slow and takes forever to load anything. There’s no back arrow when searching so if you click on something but then want to go back and look at what you were looking at before, you can’t, you have to start the whole search over again. The cart should be easily accessible but you have to click through a lot of things to get there. Same with your wishlist. It’s really hard to access your wishlist and the option to add something to your wishlist is also hard to find. Also, there’s no option to delete your account, which I tried to do but can’t figure out how. Other than that the app is fine, but as it is now it’s really annoying to use and they might as well not have an app at all because using it makes me never want to shop at Claire’s again. ### 1/5 — Not good *2024-07-04, version 7.0.0* I would say 0 stars I mean it’s easier to get in the car and go there it was not Loading this was a no please fix the app I hope this helped you have a good day ### 2/5 — I can’t get on it *2024-06-29, version 7.0.0* I can’t get on it ### 1/5 — Needs a lot of improvements *2024-06-26, version 7.0.0* Please read everything below Please fix these issues: -improve website speed and server performance -having to log in every time the app is opened or add items to a wishlist -add the wishlist button to the shop page without having to click on the item and then scroll down to add -the option to make more than one wishlist -unlimited items on wishlists Back button when scrolling through pages without having to start at the top of the page -allow & add real, honest, reviews with unlimited characters & pics/vids -allow options to add multiple people/children to one account for rewards as some people do have multiple children -add tracking options on the directly on the account -include pictures, item number, and all details of each purchased item under purchase history -please keep up with inventory and only show/sell items that are actually in stock -add an option to be notified when items are back in stock or for delivery items -items & pictures sometimes don't match with the description -more sales/promotions, diverse collaborations, celeb/influencer collaborations I have been a customer since middle school and now for my children. Now, for the actual app, it doesn’t work it only tells you to find a store and when you doo it says “book appointment” or “more details” and the more details doesn’t do anything at all just like the website. You can’t view any products or anything like that. It’s a good store for your children although it is way too overpriced but not a good piercing place or website. Also 1 time I managed to pay for my items only once they appeared and I waited and they never sent them because they don't know why they refunded me but I wanted the jewelry😔 ### 1/5 — Terrible *2025-03-04* The website and the app is trash. I placed an order through the app and there was a glitch, something about token expiring. So I re-entered my info and the order went through the second try but I ended up with two pending charges for the same order. I emailed customer service and they got back to me the next day but with an auto generated response. Something along the lines of sorry for the inconvenience but we had to cancel your order and you should not be charged for that order. They did not address my issue at all. After that, only one charge was removed from my bank. There was still the issue with the duplicate charge, if they had canceled my order then both pending charges should be gone. I really wanted to get my daughter some things with the awesome deal (buy 3 get 3), I placed the order again but through the website this time and the same thing happened.. expired token, order didn’t go through but I still got a pending charge for it.. I said screw it. I’ll spend my money elsewhere. I’ll have to call my bank to dispute the charges because customer service doesn’t really know what they’re doing. I also emailed them about updating my phone number but it’s crickets on that issue. I don’t know what happened.. Continuously asks for u to sign in after u've already logged in countless times. U can't return to ur previous search when u click on an item. I refuse to put my card info all bc of this. Im so confused I am going to miss the happiness of Claire's cause I grew up going in there all the time!!!! Today's Generation will never know what it felt like going into Claire's and seeing all the beautiful Jewelry and accessories that it had!!!!! I go on here all the time and I love to shop for phone cases, earrings, hair accessories, etc. I love how you can also book ear piercing appointments on the app for free, and how you can find your store to see if stuff is in stock. The only thing I don’t like about the app is that when you shop it takes you to the website instead of just shopping on the app itself, I saw some people complaining about it on some other reviews but for me, it doesn’t make the app any less better, it’s cool with me.
