## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No free tier

*2026-03-07*

Yes there is a free trial but otherwise you HAVE to pay to use anything. It’s the standard questionnaire followed by immediate paywall. No thanks

### 1/5 — Complete fail if you work night shift

*2024-10-18*

Night Shift folks may be the ones who need this type of app the most. This app says it will work for night shift workers but in my experience the past week it never caught on to my schedule despite putting it into the app and telling it I wanted a 5pm wake up time. Just kept suggesting the wrong sleep hours, wrong activity, wrong eating times and caffeine. Definitely one star. Please fix!!!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback, and sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the app! Arcashift should never recommend sleep during the work hours you've added to the calendar. We'd love to figure out what's going on. Could you reach out to us at shift.app@arcascope.com so we could debug?

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2023-09-06*

I’ve been waiting for this app for years and it’s super disappointing you need to pay for the premium version if you want to create more than one type of shift. I do rotating shift work with a mix of both days and nights so the free app is useless for me and I don’t want to pay for the “premium” app. App has been deleted. What a disappointment as this app could’ve been great.

### 1/5 — The math ain’t mathing

*2023-01-29*

Was really excited about this but the schedule doesn’t make any sense ?? It tells me to stop drinking caffeine during the time when I’m already sleeping and that I should only sleep for one hour before my next shift. Makes no sense at all. Needs some work.

**Developer response:** So sorry to hear your experience hasn't been positive! We'd love to have the chance to talk through what you're seeing in the app. Could you send us an email at inquiries@arcascope.com?

### 2/5 — Inconsistent?

*2025-06-23*

I think the times keep changing on me?? I check the day’s schedule and it will say one thing, then I check again later and it’s completely different.

I’m trying to use it for night shift and it’s not turning out that well:/

**Developer response:** Hi there!

Thanks for your feedback. Arcashift adjusts based on your recent sleep and activity patterns, so changes in your recommended schedule can happen as it gets more data—but we understand that might not always be expected.

We’d be happy to take a closer look and make sure everything’s working as it should for your night shifts. Feel free to reach out to us directly at shift.app@arcascope.com so we can assist you one-on-one.

### 2/5 — Promising but super glitchy

*2024-05-19*

Glitchy glitchy glitchy. Takes a long time to sync calendar updates. Also, items in my calendar marked “fee” shouldn’t count as awake events. The app freezes a lot and I have to close it and restart it often. Screen turns white. Have to delete and redownload a few times. App developers need to work on these bugs.
I’d also love to see times suggested for exercise.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback, Joanna! We're sorry for the issues you're experiencing, and would like to investigate further. Please contact us at shift.app@arcascope.com so we can assist you directly.

### 3/5 — Not worth USD$14.95 a month for calendar sync

*2023-08-24*

I was excited to try the app when it was simply named shift. I was still undecided if there was any benefit for me but the peak sleepiness insight was golden.

But to get the most out of it I want to sync with my calendar, which the old version did.

Now it’s arcashift they want USD$14.95 to sync and for that, sorry you’ve lost me.

All the best for the future.

### 5/5 — Very Useful!

*2026-01-21*

This app has been keeping me on schedule

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2026-01-20*

I am a night nurse so I have a VERY inconsistent sleep schedule. I used to feel awful every time I woke up. However… This app has taught me about circadian rhythms and how exposure to light can affect your sleep. Now I can continue to work these hours while being able to wake up refreshed and ready. Clairoe helped me gain enough energy to cook for my kids again. Seriously, thank you.

### 5/5 — Very helpful and new approach

*2025-10-01*

Despite having terrible sleep my entire life and getting all sorts of professional and non-professional advice, I have never been made aware of how important bedtime consistency and light exposure are for healthy sleep. This app has made a difference and given me extra tools to try to get my sleep schedule go better.

## Most praised reviews (4 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing and promising

*2023-05-31*

I’ve been using the app for not even a day and it seems really promising. No ads, very clean user experience, easy to use and manage. I also love all the calculations, especially for when to stop caffeine and food. Even though the app is early in development, the amount of good features is a good sign that there is much more to come. Hope to use this app for a while, I had tried other similar ones and didn’t like them.

### 5/5 — Very informative!

*2023-05-29*

Helpful guides to understand the data.

### 5/5 — Great app, really easy to use!

*2022-12-19*

Great app!

### 5/5 — 24/7 Shift worker

*2022-12-19*

Can’t believe how good this app is. Literally a game changer for anyone that is struggling with shift work. People have noticed how well I cope working shift work now and it is all thanks to this app.
