## What is ClarcyCoPilot?

Clarcy Co-Pilot – The premium navigation app for tourist rallies
Now available to clubs, organisers and individuals.

Developed by Clarcy Consulting, Clarcy Co-Pilot is the official app for Clarcy On Road rallies. It is now available to a wider audience:

Motoring clubs and rally organisers
Occasional participants
Roadbook enthusiasts
Thanks to temporary and anonymous accounts (via QR code) and an integrated demo mode, anyone can discover or use the app during a personalised or one-off rally.

Main features:

- Interactive map with the complete rally route
- Clear instructions at each stage – displayed and dictated vocally
- Tulip diagrams (visual directional symbols)
- Useful data: total distance, distance travelled, distance to the next point
- Real-time alerts: roadworks, detours, closed roads
- Detour function: tap a point to open it in Waze
- Secure access: via personal ID or QR code depending on the type of account
- Multilingual interface: French, Dutch, English, German
- Partial offline operation: once the roadbook is loaded, the app works without internet (except for maps)
- Clarcy Co-Pilot faithfully recreates the experience of a high-end paper roadbook - combining precision, comfort and driving pleasure for a smooth, controlled and unforgettable rally.
- Messaging features: organisers/participants and participants/organisers can report incidents on the road without having to use WhatsApp groups, thus ensuring the confidentiality of participants' phone numbers for better personal data protection and increased efficiency for organisers. Messages are read aloud when the app is active for greater safety at the wheel. Reply function available.
- Organisers can record voice notes during route planning with the location of the place concerned by the note for greater safety at the wheel and smoother route planning.

The following bugs have been fixed:
- Logging out does not free up the account
- Bug in the conversion of abbreviations. The longest abbreviations must be converted first.
- Reading instructions is sometimes interrupted

- Better synchronisation of messages read aloud with instructions on the route.
- General improvement of the user interface
- Fixed a bug that could cause the application to crash if the roadbook used was corrupted.

### 1.2 — 2025-07-16

Clarcy Co-Pilot introduces a major new feature: multilingual push notifications, sent manually by organizers during a rally.

Organizers now have access to a secure interface that allows them to send targeted messages exclusively to participants of their own rally, in each participant’s language.
Participants can receive timely information, read aloud when the app is active — a real advantage for road safety.
This new feature replaces WhatsApp groups, protecting participants' personal data and ensuring full GDPR compliance.
Two additional improvements:

The screen remains active when the map is displayed.
Voice instructions are now dimmed (rather than interrupted) when other audio is playing.
