Still use it daily. ### 2/5 — Buggy and full of AI generated assets *2026-08-26* I have no issues with the intention and paid nature of the app itself, but after years of coming back to it after the AI boom, everything feels extremely artificial and sloppy. The timer in the app is buggy- when I pause my tasks, the timer continues in the dynamic island and finishes my task!!, the tasks sometimes finish twice in the same day with two consecutive success screens, messing with the streaks. The images and assets are low quality AI slop images and graphics, the typography feels bland and uninteresting; it feels like fabulous has fired their entire old team and replaced them with claude and mid journey. Freemium apps are looking better these days than this paid app. It really feels heavily vibe coded with no attention to UI quality and core features. And for that, this is absolutely overpriced. The Fabulous Member Care team ### 2/5 — Scammy subscription model but somewhat useful app *2026-08-21* Considering who this app is aimed at, I find it very scammy to make unsubscribing so unnecessarily difficult. You cannot simply do it in the App Store like with all other apps. They make you pay for 3 months at a time as well. I find it difficult to deal with admin. As do many others with ADHD. When things like this are difficult, I tend to give up. The app itself is not bad but everything takes ages in it. It’s pretty but I’d prefer it to be less graphics and more straight up useful. Graphics could still be used without taking so unnecessary long time to play out. The Deep Work feature is very calming but also very annoying if you are pulled away from it (which as a mum to a toddler happens pretty often). If you close the app, the timer restarts completely. You cannot pause the music with your headphones so have to get your phone to do it which can be another distraction. I haven’t tried everything in it yet, and only using it at this point because I’m paying for it. The AI generated everything is frustrating. There’s just wayyyyy too much going on. They keep asking me to rate them Every second of the day. It is not only not helpful, they make it nearly impossible to cancel. Save yourself hundreds of dollars by not downloading it at all. ### 1/5 — Thieves *2026-06-21, version 21.0.1* This developer has a very elaborate scheme to trick you and steal your money. First, they make an initial transaction for a small amount in order to get your card details, and then they subscribe you by disguising the consent in such a way that you don’t realize you are actually signing up for a subscription. After that, they say you can manage your subscription from your account, which is false. The account only shows that you are subscribed, and there is no section for canceling the subscription. Honestly, I don’t understand how Apple allows them to scam and steal from people on their platform. ### 1/5 — Fraudulent *2026-06-20, version 21.0.1* I signed up for Fabulous app and then couldn’t afford the 39.99. For some reason the app didn’t have a place for me to cancel. Some kind of error within my account. So the app declined a refund. I said okay there’s nothing I can do but stop charging me moving forward. Now months later, I have another fraudulent charge and I no longer even use the app. How is this helpful? My daughter’s birthday is tomorrow and my bank is saying I can’t have access to my card because they have to send a new one at this point. That will take a week. How is that helpful? How is this contributing to my wellbeing or mental health. This app used to be upstanding but now it’s just fraudulent. What you are doing is disgusting. With all life stressors, people don’t need another one. I suggest no one uses this app. ### 1/5 — Perfectly designed scam for ADHD *2026-06-19, version 21.0.1* This company is a perfectly designed con. It's app 'Clarify' is terrible for people with ADHD which is its whole selling point. I tried it on a free subscription and lasted literally 2 days before realising it was a complete waste of time and deleted it. They then charged me £30.99 in December, February and April and I didnt notice until I got notifications that they had been declined this month. Thats when I noticed all of these charges. I checked my emails and they hadn't sent a single invoice or warning for any of these charges. It's like they market towards people with ADHD, knowing they are unlikely to notice or remember it turns into a payed subscription. They then dont send emails hoping you forget and didn't let me subscribe through the App Store where most people with adhd know to check their subscriptions. It's a crazy targeted scam. I wouldn't touch any of their apps or give them any access to payment details. I just started using the Clarity app again more recently. The first time I started using it I wasn’t ready for it, but after using the Fabulous app and working through my schedule structuring of time I have found the Clarity app to be much more useful, particularly as I am back and graduate school for the first time since 2010 when I received my doctoral degree. I am now working on licensing and it is much different than doctoral-level research. It requires turning things in that are good enough, and letting go of perfectionism. The clarity app is perfect for this task. I list out everything that I have to do, then use the AI Centering and Planning to help personalize and prioritize my approach. It’s about “progress not perfection;” a lifelong commitment that I am continually learning to adapt to and incorporating into my professional and personal development.
