The new content is pretty good but the same articles are re-printed either in the same edition or a later one. The sports section, once among the best in the southeast, has really fallen on hard times. For the non-USA Today sections I’d love to see even more local coverage. I see a thousand articles a year on what happened in the past and hardly any trying to figure out how to move forward and improve things today. I’ve been a subscriber for over 40 years and I understand the challenges newspapers face today to stay alive but you’ll really need to get better to thrive here and in the future. I do think there’s a place for the Ledger, you have to have credibility and content that matters. ### 5/5 — The News *2021-08-14, version 3.4.02* Great App! I learned early of its importance. I have continued to follow via electronic media. Now in my senior years, I am sometimes disappointed. Editorially, it appears to favor Ole Miss and Jackson State. I want to see MSU stories. If it continues heading the way it has been going the past couple of years, I will discontinue.
