## What is Clarity?

Clarity is a personal music player for audio files you own, available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It does not provide a music catalog or streaming service. It is designed for local files and music stored on your own WebDAV/NAS server.

- Browse folders and play audio from your private server.
- Automatically cache played remote tracks for reliable replay.
- Group identical tracks from multiple servers into one row and choose the preferred source version.

■ Optional iCloud Library Sync (Pro)
- Sync selected NAS server details, registered tracks, edited metadata, WebDAV playlists, and favorites across devices using the same iCloud account.
- Sync is off by default and selected separately for each NAS.
- WebDAV passwords, audio files, caches, recent plays, and resume positions are never synced.

■ Local Music and File Transfer
- Import through Files on iOS or drag and drop on Mac.
- Upload audio from a PC or Mac browser over the same local Wi-Fi network.
- Organize music in folders on Mac and reveal files directly in Finder.

■ Playback and Study Tools
- 10-band EQ and custom presets
- A-B repeat and configurable quick jumps
- Precise playback speed and pitch controls (Pro)
- Playlists, favorites, search, shuffle, and repeat

■ Metadata
- Edit text metadata such as title, artist, and album.
- Artwork editing and downloading iPhone/iPad local music to a computer require Pro. Reveal in Finder on Mac remains available without Pro.
- WebDAV metadata edits are non-destructive and never modify the remote source file.

Clarity now properly supports iPad.

- Open tabs stay visible in the iPad sidebar at all times, and frequently used tabs can be pinned to their own section for quick access.
- Rotating iPad to landscape splits the player into two columns — artwork and playback controls on the left, the queue always visible on the right.
- The mini player at the bottom is now always visible, so you can reach the player even before selecting a track.
- Album name is now shown throughout the player, including the mini player.
- Select multiple playlists at once to delete them together.
- Significantly improved VoiceOver accessibility across the player screen.
- Fixed an issue where Control Center's play/pause state could fall out of sync during background playback.
- Numerous other stability improvements and bug fixes.
