On July 11 we had an outage: the AI service Clarity depends on went down, so the app genuinely could not process anything, for anyone, that day. You installed right in the middle of it. It was not your message and not your connection, and the walkthrough should never have trapped you there. That is fixed. I also went back and made the app show you what is happening while it works, instead of sitting silent and then failing. "Doesn't work" told us something real even without the details. That was on version 1.3, back when Clarity had just launched and the first run genuinely broke for a lot of people. Long recordings used to cut off or disappear before Clary heard them, and that is fixed. Clary now answers in the language you wrote in, every time. Clary learns how you work, so it stops making the same mistake twice. Lists and notes stay what they are instead of turning into tasks you have to check off. The chat expands so you can read a whole conversation, and it keeps your history. Your calendar choices stick after you close the app. The example tasks from the walkthrough clean themselves up instead of sitting in your list. ### 5.2 — 2026-08-12 Clarity is noticeably faster now, especially if you leave it open for a while or you have a lot of tasks. New: Settings > Calendar. Connect your calendar there, choose which ones show up in your day, and see at a glance whether it is actually working. Also: Clary always replies in the language you write in, understands you better when you correct something it just did, and the widget is finally easy to find and install. ### 5.1 — 2026-08-11 Your Top-3 now lives on your home screen and your lock screen. You can see what you decided to do today without opening anything, and tapping it drops you straight into today. That sounds small, and it is the point. Most of what doesn't get done isn't a decision you changed your mind about. It's something you meant to do and simply stopped seeing. Your calendar can now sit inside your day too, read only. Events show up next to your tasks, you can make them shorter or taller, hide the ones you don't want to see, and mark the ones that already happened. Nothing is ever copied or changed in your calendar. Also in this version: asking Clary for a reminder no longer creates the task twice, lists and notes work the way they were meant to, and getting started is a lot less bumpy. ### 5.0 — 2026-08-09 Clarity understands time now. Say "lunch at 12:30" and it stays a real time instead of a note, and the events already in your calendar show up right next to what you planned for that day. They sit where they belong, and your tasks stay free to move between them. Not everything you capture is a task, so now it doesn't have to be. Lists, notes and a "not now" shelf hold the things you want to keep without them piling up as work you are behind on. A wishlist can stay open for months without nagging you. All of them can carry reminders. Deleting is one swipe, and archiving is its own action. That matters more than it sounds: "I'm not doing this" used to get recorded as "I did this", which quietly inflated everyone's numbers. Your stats are honest now, and they can finally tell you what kind of things you tend to let go. When something has been sitting there for weeks, Clary can break it into the first small steps, so you don't have to invent the starting point every time you look at it. And when you keep rewriting the same task, Clarity notices and offers to bring it back on its own.
