Although many of the watch faces work, some fail to change the date etc or complications do not work. I reached out several times to support only to receive EXACTLY the same word for word response I received from Pure Watch Faces. Nothing has ever been done to fix these issues nor have I ever received any more communication from this vender. **Developer response:** Hi there, Thank you for your feedback. They are cool, however it is not a watch face that you can load up and have it display constantly. Unless I am doing it wrong, I have to open my watch apps, scroll, open Clarity app then click play. This app doesn’t even work. The watch face will appear then disappear as soon as the watch auto locks and you reopen it. I want a refund. DID NOT agree to pay that and I took pictures of what you guys said and what it said I was paying.l looked at the receipt and the price says $6.99. You advertised for $0.99 THEN charged people $6.99. I need you to run me my money back. False advertising and you’re a scammer. (For example, the centigrade temperature is what you’re stuck with.) Fortunately, my bank noticed their fraudulent activity, changed my card numbers, and blocked them. They are crooks; it's not just a one-time charge. Once you approve a transaction, they will continue to charge you various amounts. I've already reported them to Apple, and I believe they need to be removed from the platform. This company is based in India. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — SCAM!!! *2025-08-15* Found this on Instagram was initially charged $0.99 and now my bank stopped a fraudulent charge of $6.00 after installing the first face. Gave the app access to health data and location (while using the app.) You need to open the app in your watch to access your face as soon as your watch goes to sleep the face from the app reverts back to your own face you had on your watch thru the watch app on your phone. Waste of money unless it can be integrated with the app on your phone to always come up. ### 1/5 — SCAM ALERT! DO NOT DOWNLOAD! *2025-08-13* Do not download/purchase this app!! They will charge a small fee when you download and then keep trying to charge a ridiculous weekly subscription with no clear subscription listed in the app or on your Apple account. Edit: Despite developer's response, terms for a subscription are not "clearly stated" as you can see by others who experienced the same surprise as I did. Funny to see other responses "taken very seriously," but with the same issue I am told I'm wrong. I guess my review isn't high enough on the page to care. Wish I had read the other reviews before buying. Lesson learned. Support is also nonexistent. Received a reply to my request to cancel with a ticket # and no follow up. They have a high volume of requests id imagine to cancel the surprise subscription. They’ll be happy to assist you. ### 1/5 — This should be removed false claims *2025-08-02* This is a misleading fake app shows you all these really nice watch faces that aren’t really used as a watch face. The only work if you load their app on your watch, then open the app for this then you select the watch face it’s not a real wash face it’s a mock watch face your watch face that is from Apple will override it every time and you have to open this app in order for it to be up and showing as your fake watch facethey charging $.99 to even get the link off the website and they charge us six dollars and some odd cents for the app, requesting a full refund false and lying claims ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-08-02* The face will only work when will you have the app open on the watch if not, it’ll go right back to whatever you had previously don’t waste your time or money. I have been trying to cancel my subscription and now it just charged me $30 which is ridiculous because I only use this app for 20 minutes and nobody responds to you. Let us know how we can help. ### 1/5 — Potential Scam *2025-08-01* Two things. The app is advertised as .99. After paying that they immediately tried to take more money from my credit card. Thank you Apple Pay for blocking those attempts and helping me block Clarity from even attempting to take more money from me. The watch face disappears once your watch goes to sleep. If you want to use it, you have to go into the app and reset the face every single time you want to use it. It’s a shame because the designs are really slick but they’re essentially unusable and the vendor tried to pick my pocket. ### 1/5 — Problem *2025-07-20* If anyone purchased this, make sure that after you buy it, you block clarity watch on your card that you purchased it or they’re gonna charge you $40 and they’re gonna keep trying to charge you so you have to block them to stop them from ever charging you again, but you’ll be able to keep everything on there once you block them, but they won’t be able to charge you anymore. Let us know how we can help. ### 1/5 — Scam!!! *2025-07-13* The watch faces are very nice, but there is a huge problem with the app. Unlike many other watch face apps where you could actually install watch face, in order to use the watch face, you have to have the clarity app running on your watch. Once your watch goes to sleep or you click on the crown the watch face goes away. I’m sure there’s a reason why they did that this way. Probably so that they could have the reoccurring charge to your account and if you cancel you don’t have access to the watch face. ### 1/5 — Change your Apple Card number - FRAUD *2025-07-12* I’ve never felt the need to review an app on here until now. Just like everyone else here, I bought the $0.50 sent ad from Instagram. I deleted it within minutes when I saw it also wanted an additional subscription of either $9 or $29. Removed myself immediately and never subscribed for any plan. And yet, I keep getting charges (thankfully declined by Apple before posting); I’ve declined 4 of these attempts already in one day. I checked the app settings again, which doesn’t even have any section about your "account” or "subscription" info - the only option given is to Contact Support, which is to provide you with the support e-mail address that is being provided in response to some of these other reviews I’m seeing here. I even checked my Apple account for subscriptions or payments - nothing there either. The fact that I’m getting (attempted) charges for differing subscription amounts only adds to the likelihood of fraud. At least I know it’s not just me. I went ahead and requested a new Apple Card number from within the Wallet app and hopefully it stops the attempted charges - posting this here in case it’s useful for anyone else. **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your feedback. None of these match my style of outdoors, hunting fishing, military police officer. These are all dressy watches. I am not that type of person.
