Nice app and interface. Very easy to adjust depth, adjust and gain is a little odd. Quite doable. It’s very easy to select different scanners and modes. Saving images is also quite nice. Measurement and m mode are easy to do. Images tend to be very good compared to vscan and some larger machines. The two issues that come up or when updates are needed. This can be quite painful as it does not tell you ahead of time so you may want to consider updating when you first start up your scanner before you go to see patients. Second issue is that this app would be 100% more useful if it was allowed to be used on a MacBook, allowing for a larger screen, and not having prop up a phone or an iPad on various things in the patient room. However, Clarius did not want to do this for some unknown reason. It would only require clicking a checkbox, but I suppose they are unwilling to do this.

The 20Mhz probe is amazing for seeing tiny veins just under the skin surface.

I am thrilled with my purchase and will be publishing data collected with my system.

Amazing piece of equipment for unbelievable price.

We use the Clarius L7 to check the vertebral arteries before and after the atlas orthogonal adjustment, and it is so easy and so fast and helps me the document the best way to reduce the Atlas subluxation. The artificial intelligence does most of the thinking for me.

mit 15 jahren msk us erfahrung und als international tätiger dozent für msk us kurse über 1 jahrzehnt habe ich die entwicklung von point of care lösungen von anfang an beobachtet begleitet und evaluiert. clarius hat hier vielfach eine benchmark gesetzt, sowohl was connectivity, handling und cloudbasierte softwarelösungen angeht. die bildqualität ist über jeden zweifel erhaben. wir haben die systeme umfassend getestet- auch in unseren kursen. die regelmäßigen updates zeigen den proggressiven ansatz und den willen gutes ausdauernd besser zu machen! dran bleiben, weiter machen👏

### 1/5 — Extremely Disappointing Experience with Defective Product and Poor Customer Service

I purchased a Clarius MSK ultrasound probe, expecting a high-quality product and responsive customer service based on the company’s reputation. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory.

From the moment I received the product, it was defective. The probe took 2–5 minutes to load images, rendering it essentially unusable. I immediately contacted Clarius customer support to resolve the issue, and while I received initial assistance from a representative who suggested adjusting settings, nothing resolved the problem. After a Zoom call with a trainer, it was confirmed that the issue was likely hardware-related.

I requested a refund or exchange promptly after that confirmation, but Clarius stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. Despite returning the probe over a week ago, I have yet to receive my refund. I had no choice but to escalate the matter by contacting my credit card company to initiate a chargeback.

In my opinion, Clarius failed to meet basic standards of customer service and product reliability. These issues include:

1. Selling a defective product.
2. Poor communication and lack of follow-up from the customer service team.
3. Delays in processing my refund after returning the product.

This experience has been time-consuming, frustrating, and disappointing. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Clarius products, as their customer support and return process do not align with the expectations one would have when purchasing a medical device.

I hope this review informs others and encourages Clarius to improve their policies and customer service.

### 1/5 — Obligates Update macht Scanner funktionslos

Wenn sie funktionieren, ist das Gesamtpaket gut. 
Jedoch hat das letzte Update sämtliche Scanner für einen kompletten Arbeitstag funktionsunfähig gemacht. Warum kann man nicht beim Update einen späteren Installationszeitpunkt auswählen, zB nach der Sprechstunde? Die Geräte verlangen das Update, sonst funktionieren sie nicht mehr. Alleine das ist für ein Diagnostikgerät schon juristisch kompliziert. Nur leider haben sie nach dem Update überhaupt nicht mehr funktioniert. Sehr unprofessionell.

Dazu kommt, dass im laufenden Betrieb die Konnektivität, sprich die Verbindungsherstellung zum iPad manchmal minutenlang dauern kann.  Oft muss man die App beenden und neu starten und den Akku aus dem Gerät entfernen und wieder einsetzen, um einen Neustart zu bewirken. Im laufenden Sprechstundenbetrieb ebenfalls nicht wünschenswert.

Nach dem letztem Update ist nun die Option beim Abschluss die Daten an einen Dicom Server verschwunden obwohl dieser eingerichtet ist und auch funktioniert. So echt nicht zu gebrauchen sehr schade….

Being unable to update completely froze the machine making it unusable. This happened during consultations. Very bad.

Ich habe drei Schallköpfe gekauft und die sind toll, wenn sie funktionieren. 
Jeder Schallkopf fordert vor fast jedem Einsatz ein update - Entweder ist die Software so fehlerhaft, dass dauern updates notwendig sind oder es gibt einen anderen mir nicht bekannten Grund.
Aktuell liefert der C3 gar kein Bild obwohl die Verbindung besteht. 
Sonst kam es häufig zu Unterbrechung der Bildübertragung - Aktuell beseht das Problem nicht - es kommt ja gar kein Bild.
Support erfolgt nur in der Form, dass die Anfrage angekommen ist und sich jemand ganz schnell darum kümmert und dass man unbedingt ein update durchführen muss. Man wird sogar gebeten ein iOS update durchzuführen, obwohl dies noch nicht auf dem deutschen Markt zur Verfügung steht. 
Fazit es könnte toll sein aber aktuell die Finger davon lassen.

Folks considering buying this handheld ultrasound need to be aware of Clarius discontinuation policy . I bought their first product back in 2017 for $8900AU  . It got discontinued support in 2020 that I was not informed about and this new app doesnt connect to the device anymore . Ive been told the only option is to buy their latest device . I think this is awful post purchase customer service and would not buy another product if they can discontinue it again in a few yrs in order to sell their next product . Do your own research before you buy!

Die App stürzt IMMER ab wenn der Bildschirm gedreht wird. Dies war vorher kein Problem. 
Bitte schnell zurück zur ursprünglichen Qualität.

Wir haben intensiv versucht das System nutzbar zu machen. WLAN professionell im Untersuchungsraum, moderne Rechner, moderne iPads, aktuelle Software. Um es klar zu sagen: wenn es funktioniert, dann macht dieses Ultraschallgerät wirklich Spaß. Aber man wünscht sich das alte Kabel zurück. Die Verbindungen sind nicht so zuverlässig, wie man sie in der Medizin braucht. Oder wie finden Sie das, wenn mitten im vaginalen Ultraschall das Bild steht und auch keine Anstalten macht sich wieder zu bewegen? Support: finden Sie ganz klein unter dem Teppich. Aber auch nur wenn sie genau suchen. Der ist eher virtuell als real. Wie schade. Wir wollten draußen bleiben aus der alten Welt des Trackballs und riesiger Ultraschallgeräte. Das ist technisch heutzutage nicht mehr notwendig. Aber sich dabei auf Bluetooth und WLAN zu verlassen ist definitiv im Moment noch der falsche Weg. Da war sogar das alte Sonix One mit seinem Touch Screen um Klassen besser als jetzt dieses Gerät. Nun liegen also mehrere tausend € fröhlich in der Schublade und sind höchstens als Back-up zu benutzen. Wir warten jetzt auf einen Vaginalscanner von Philips, die ein ähnliches System benutzen, aber auf das Kabel zurückgreifen. Bleibt nur zu hoffen, dass sie eine ähnlich gute Software wie diese hier anbieten können. Noch mal: Software und Schallkopf sind durchaus überzeugend. Sie müsste nur auch miteinander zuverlässig kommunizieren können. Immer und ohne Wartezeiten. 

Nach der Antwort des Entwicklers (fast sieben Monate später):
Es bleibt dabei. In der Routineanwendung mit schneller Patientinnenfolge ist das Gerät völlig unbrauchbar. Wir haben es nicht wieder in Betrieb genommen, ich werde es wahrscheinlich nun bei eBay Kleinanzeigen verkaufen.
Abgesehen davon ist ein iPad kein  Medizinprodukt. Ein als Medizinprodukt zugelassenes Tablett wird nicht mit angeboten, es wird auch nicht erwähnt, dass es notwendig ist. Deswegen hatten wir Schwierigkeiten in der Zulassung bei der KV. 
Das Gerät ist insgesamt für einen professionellen Einsatz nicht geeignet. Ein wunderschönes Gadget, aber kein Medizinprodukt und für deutsche Arztpraxen eine Fehlinvestition.

Been using the scanner for 1 year now. The image shows for 1 second and then it disconnects. They told me I have to replace both batteries, they only had 7 hours of use. Stay away from any Clarius battery product. Cost me $12,000 1 year ago and they want me to replace both batteries for $500.

Ich benutze den Clarius Scanner seit etwas über einem Jahr. Läuft jetzt auch ohne Mitgliedschaft mit Bild-Exportfunktion via „Advanced Package“ weiter. Sind damit für Extremitäten und MSK sehr zufrieden.
Support ist auch gut erreichbar und hilfsbereit.

My congrats !

I ‘m really enjoying my experience with this device, which absolutely surprises me, almost every day.
L7 HD3 is performing Outstanding quality results for a portable Ultrasound device.
More and more often, The L7HD3 device is replacing, in my practice, a stationary ultrasound device which costs more than ten times more than L7 HD3.

I only find some problems with obese patients, in terms of a lower image quality, which, anyways, at the bottom end, it’s still acceptable
