### 1/5 — Not good

*2019-01-28, version 4.2.4*

No ability to route calls to external practices who might be in your call group. Clarus only works if all the members of a call group are internal to the group. Half baked and they refuse to address this serious short coming. You have to call their admin on call to make the switch manually in this scenario.

### 1/5 — 4.2 is more buggy

*2018-09-19, version 4.2.0*

I was satisfied with this app until the latest update yesterday. I updated to avoid getting the frequent request to update each time I started the app and now I still get the update message and I’ve already updated the app. It no longer transcribes my messages since updating as well.

### 1/5 — Not appropriate for medical professionals

*2017-03-18, version 4.0.2*

The system in theory and in demonstration looks wonderful. It allows you to securely communicate with patients in convey medical information. The problem is it's simply not functional as a notification service. Specifically you or sent a notification via text; however it is not accessible on the application for 90-120 seconds.

As an obstetrician I do not want to be paged at 3 o'clock in the morning and then wait around for several minutes to find out what the page is for

### 1/5 — Poorly designed. Many bugs

*2017-01-29, version 4.0.1*

I have been using this application now for about 1 month. There any many bugs, and this most recent update includes many more. Delayed responses to touching button and inability to clear messages at time. At times I get multi Le pages for the same message 20-30 minute apart. Also the transcribed messages it sends are grossly inaccurate. Not sure what type of voice software it uses but it isn't very good.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Bad ceo bad product

*2023-11-01, version 4.9.2*

This company has not paid their bills to developers and almost every staff member including senior partner left. Such products don’t deserve to be successful.

### 1/5 — Junk

*2022-08-19, version 4.8.0*

This is one of the worst things to happen to healthcare. Patients using the app are directed to a phone tree that often drops calls or routes to the wrong option. This is dangerous for patient care. Hospitals and provider that use this should not be trusted as they are maximizing cost cuts at the expense of patient care.

### 1/5 — Not great. 🙁

*2021-12-20, version 4.6.0*

Very cumbersome. Requires multiple steps for what used to be a simple process. Audio quality is variable and auto transcription makes frequent errors.

### 1/5 — Clarus system

*2021-10-24, version 4.5.3*

Cumbersome & rarely works correctly.

### 1/5 — Clarus

*2021-10-13, version 4.5.3*

Mostly a pain , but does work occasionally

### 1/5 — Physician

*2021-09-11, version 4.5.3*

I would describe this app as cumbersome and clumsy. Not a good experience for the patient or the provider/physician.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2021-08-20, version 4.5.3*

I am a physician who was forced by my employer to use this sham. It is absolutely the worst fun timing all of all time. The calls are garbled, take forever to transcribe, and the interface is terrible. The developers of this should be ashamed of themselves as they are clearly not fit to get dressed, much less develop an app. To all physicians out there who may have to use this, FIGHT BACK!!!

### 1/5 — LLB

*2021-08-15, version 4.5.3*

The worst of the worsts

### 1/5 — Terrible app for call

*2021-08-04, version 4.5.3*

Not user friendly. Eats away your battery. Not great compatibility with Apple Watch/iPhone if they’re both on and connected. Pages take too long to come to our phones. Dictation too delayed.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2021-08-04, version 4.5.3*

This is terrible, absolutely hate it

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Highly Recommend for After-hours and Daytime

*2024-08-25, version 4.9.8*

After using the after hours app and seeing continuous improvements my office added the Clarus call management software during office hours. It has dramatically improved the efficiency with which our staff handle patient calls and they love it. Our administrator can easily monitor call volume and task completion in real time and there have been no patient complaints to date.

### 5/5 — A huge improvement

*2024-07-08, version 4.9.8*

The app gives a much improved oncall experience. There are fewer trivial interruptions and better options for connecting and documentation. Five stars.

### 5/5 — Easy to read, reply, and document patient calls

*2023-06-15, version 4.9.1*

I used an operator before. Very inefficient. Lots of inaccurate or missing calls. And taking notes was nearly impossible. Clarus has made this process much simpler. Lots of notification options.

### 5/5 — MD

*2021-08-14, version 4.5.3*

Great app. Team has been great to work with! Up and coming medical communication company.

### 5/5 — Surgeons on call

*2019-11-25, version 4.2.5*

Being on call while in the OR made me nervous about the idea of transitioning to a different service, but with Clarus it’s easy to handle the calls. I can easily triage the call, respond as needed and help my patients all without having to worry about breaking scrub. Once I’m finished in the OR, it’s simple to follow up as needed and add documentation straight from my phone.

### 5/5 — Impressed

*2019-11-21, version 4.2.5*

I never would have thought that an automated system could handle the complex way my practice takes call, but Clarus proved me wrong! The ability to respond to patients quickly and efficiently through various forms of communication while protecting our personal phone numbers has been great for my practice. We have also been able to utilize midlevels more by routing calls to them and then they escalate to a physician easily if needed. Not to mention, the team at Clarus is quick and responsive to any changes we might need to make.

### 5/5 — Great group

*2019-01-29, version 4.2.4*

We have been very happy with the Clarus team since we migrated from an answering service full of mistakes. Always ready to help and easy to work with. The app has had a few glitches here and there but they continue to make improvements.

### 5/5 — So much better than an answering service

*2018-10-07, version 4.2.3*

Once we learned how to use the application which was only a matter of a few calls we have found this to be vastly superior to a human answering service. The patient leaves a short message and usually we choose the option which calls them straight back but there’s also the option to text the patient or call the patient later. And it does not reveal my cell phone number. There is also an excellent archive and all calls a date and time stamped and we have a record of when we responded.

### 4/5 — Glen Christen, MD

*2021-12-21, version 4.6.0*

There are many advantages to this system. Only mild issue I see is that it gets the patient name wrong occasionally.
