Bad UI and pay to win *2024-09-03, version 7.22* It’s not as bad as far as being pay to win as many other games but expect slow progress if u don’t want to fork out some money. My biggest concern is not having an instant completion option when farming for drops on maps you’ve already cleared…that is the only thing that makes me consider deleting the game ### 4/5 — Fun but needs work *2023-09-24* So far it’s a really fun game. Good style not many games like it. The game is just way to Grindy for its gameplay. Upgrading buildings takes days to get the “supplies” you need. If you could raid other people for supplies that would help a lot. Or if there were any other source of supplies. Getting new monsters also seems nearly impossible without spending money. The game has a lot of potential but doesn’t seem welcoming to new players. Most will probably quit after having to wait a few days for the most basic upgrades. The game also crashes a lot. Good monster design and it was beta so balance could be addressed. Then they drop all of this to make some sort of boring auto battler. This new awakening is strange as there’s not a lot to really do and it takes so long to do stuff, well specifically wait for building supplies to finish and have enough. Other than that just waiting on more rollouts of like we just had. Ty. Can we have more ways to earn building supplies, like we have the campaign, can we have battles like that for building supplies also. What they turned it into is just a boring grind with little to no progress and isn’t fun at all. Not worth playing anymore. I was an officer on a pretty decent team with 30ish players. That team now has 2 semi active players. Everyone else quit. ### 4/5 — Game reset *2023-01-19* If your a new player this game is not worth your time, there is no balance for getting gold for advanced research, game is really boring after the reset, your forced to lose battles if you need gold only to have it taken away faster then you can get it. Developer has refused to address this and the balance issue. It costs gold which you can never find just to attack. I ran over 16 times just to collect 1600. And the upgrades cost over 43k to complete. Can't report it to support because I can't get into the game to get required information to report that I cannot get into the game. What I was able to play was a beautiful concept with beautiful graphics but it's useless stating that when I cannot get into game ### 1/5 — Ruined *2022-12-22, version 5.1.3* Clash of Beasts used to be a fun War Dragons alternative with a breeding system, armoury and events. Now it’s a senseless gacha game with little to no strategy involved. It might as well be an afk game now. What was once just ok is now awful. People spent MONEY on this game only for it to be completely reset, and no one has been appropriately compensated. ### 1/5 — CoB Destroyed After Major Update *2022-12-20* The December 2022 update that overhauled the entire game was a total disappointment. It turned an exciting, free to play, PvP game with awesome beasts into something that hardly resembles any gameplay. The few available attacks modes there are have an “AUTO” button so players don’t actually play the game! What? Yep, auto game play. So BORING. The old account holders were given compensation via the switch by a formula that the company will not disclose. Gems, timers, bases, and more were changed to the new system. It hardly seems fair to restart at level 1 with fewer gems, timers, and resources than a week ago and eighty levels higher. Overall, I was very unimpressed with the new system, graphics, and mechanics. There’s no in-game support tool to help figure things out. It’s dull. Watching paint dry is more fun. UPDATE: I’ve deleted the game. The developers don’t listen to the gamers on Discord. Which is where they wish players to give critical feedback. I tried that. Now it’s just give the nitty gritty and be done with it. Taking hundreds of dollars of progress away for nothing. The least user friendly I’ve come across in a long time ### 1/5 — Terrible game and horribly done, would give -stars if possible *2025-04-13* In order to finish chapter one you need to align a tower and in order to do that you need to upgrade your hut and to upgrade your hut you need to upgrade the library and to upgrade the library you need to finish chapter one and to finish chapter one you need to align the tower and you can’t align the tower h til you upgrade your hut which can’t upgrade unless you upgrade the library and you can’t upgrade the library until you finish chapter one which you need to align the hut to do. See how little sense this makes because it makes zero sense to me. ### 1/5 — Many tasks are time gated, with delays as long as 10 hours or more. *2025-03-26, version 7.26.2* Game is poorly designed and has really long wait times to develop your beats and tower defenses. Random based rewards from a large pool make development path of beasts really annoyingly repetitive. As well., the worse thing is that some in game purchases meant to increase the wait times of creating supplies, do not work and despite spending money on the beastmaster pass, the workshop output is still the same. ### 1/5 — Wow *2024-11-10, version 7.23.2* They haven't updated this game in forever. I haven't played in like a year and nothing has changed... ### 1/5 — One of the dullest gacha games I’ve played *2024-06-12, version 7.19* Between a boring story, mediocre graphics, very simple gameplay and an incredibly tedious grind that starts quick into the game, you’re left not playing for hours to only play for 5 minutes. Even the wish system animation is not exciting. It’s either low effort or inexperience but there’s no redeeming qualities here.
