## What is Clasps?

Clasps is a private catalogue for a jewelry and handbag collection.

Take the photo. Clasps fills in the details. Photograph a piece and Clasps names it and describes it for you: the metal, the stones, the style, the era. That’s the whole job. Make changes on your own time, or never. Recording a collection of two hundred pieces becomes an afternoon, not a project.

Keep the story. Who gave it, where it was bought, the day it was worn. Fill it in over time, in any order, in your own words.

Ready for the insurer. Appraisals, receipts and certificates live with the piece. An insurance schedule is one tap, as a PDF or straight to the printer.

Ready for the next generation. Name who each piece goes to, note whether it’s in the will, and hand your attorney a report that says so.

Private by design. Face ID or your passcode every time the app opens, and again for values and documents. Photographs and details are encrypted on the way and where they rest. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers — there are no advertisers. Export everything, photographs included, whenever you like.

Free for up to 50 pieces. Clasps Deluxe adds unlimited pieces, a wish list that drafts itself from a photo or a link, insurance and estate reports, spreadsheet import and export, custom fields, and full-resolution backup to the cloud. $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, billed through the App Store; cancel any time in Settings › Subscriptions.
