### 1/5 — Teaser chopped songs, ads

App plays half a song, does not play songs from the beginning. You will be driven mad by ads from Apple Music and Iris Hold Me song. Quits a lot too. All my favorite songs chopped in half with just a teaser taste. Do they do it on purpose or what

**Developer response:** App requires an Apple Music subscription.

Hello Ms Molokai,
The app has no ads, and will never have ads, because I don't like ads anymore than you do. But, it does require an Apple Music Subscription. Without one, it will play 15 second previews of songs, and sometimes the preview starts in the middle.

If you need your Christmas music free, try the Christmas Radio+ app, it's not my app, but it's a good app. It will play random Christmas songs. My app plays Christmas albums, and to play whole Christmas albums, you need to subscribe to a music streaming service such as Apple Music. With Apple music you get the first month free, and you can sign up right inside my app. That's what the app is trying to tell you.

Revised review: The app has been updated and is working well now. I really enjoy these old Christmas albums and I appreciate the time and effort the developer put into making this app.

Old review: The app just shows album covers. It doesn't play any music. There are no play/stop/advance controls visible to click on. And when you click on an album, there's no way to return to the album list. You have to just close the app.

**Developer response:** When viewing an album, if you don't see the transport controls used to play the album, resize the window downward until they appear below it. 

To close the album and return to the album collection, click on it and drag downward.

For help, you can also click on the question mark in the upper-right-hand corner, just above the album, and the various controls are explained in a short video.

Such an easy to use app and I love the analog click of the play and pause buttons. Great classic record feeling.

This is app is fantastic to play classic Christmas songs!  Very easy to use and so clever with the original covers to select albums and individual songs detailed on the back for song selection.

Used this app to play several Christmas songs on Thanksgiving from the Frank Sinatra era. It was fun listening to the songs from previous times.
