I hardly ever get the 13 points of the queen of spades. That means the game is rigged. Very often my end of game total number of points is negative. Like I said, the game is rigged. ### 1/5 — You can’t beat the robot. *2024-06-06* As long as the robot controls the deal algorithm, it can’t be beat. The deals are so obviously slanted against the player it’s no fun to play. The skill level of the player aside, he who controls the deal controls the game. It becomes one set-up after another. But a truly fatal flaw makes the game too easy to win - the fact that the queen of spades is NEVER passed to me. ### 3/5 — Almost there *2025-10-08* After playing quite a few hands I realized I never get passed the Queen of Spades. Not once. What’s up with that? So the program needs improving. Also, the deals have a too-consistent quality and shape to them. They should be more varied. Lastly, it’s rare I get a hand I can shoot the moon with but the opponents do it on occasion. On the good side, you can’t float a heart. Someone will take the trick. Too bad because this game is almost there. ### 4/5 — Good but not amazing *2025-10-27* First, really appreciate the minimal ads. You can play with just banner ads and no interstitials, which is MUCH better than the competitors. So kudos. Also, I really appreciate the fast mode. You can play much faster than other apps. To all the players saying the hands are rigged, that they never get dealt the queen of spades or whatever… Definitely not my experience. The deals seem truly random. Now the issues.. 1. This game only ends when a player has 101 points or more. The games don’t end at 100 points, even though they should. 2. The bots sometimes seem to know what’s in your hand (or the other bots’ hands). Most egregious example: One of the bots LED with the queen of spades. I had only a king and had to take it. But there were other spades on the table, so even if they were keeping track of the cards, they couldn’t have known that I only had the king. Made no sense unless they know my cards. 3. The bots shoot the moon a lot, which is fine, but the issue is that they never block it when the other bots do it. They just let the bot shoot the moon and put up no resistance, so either you have to take some hearts or the moon is successful. They don’t play this way when the player is trying to shoot the moon — they block it at all costs. 4. The bots never pass the queen of spades. This doesn’t really make sense. Unless you have a ton of spades, you usually want to pass it. ### 4/5 — Good App *2024-07-03* This app feels very fair to me, just like all the Coppercod card games do. I’m new to playing hearts. It’s like the twisted sister of Spades. Something about Hearts makes me feel edgy. Maybe because there are 3 losers and one winner per game. ### 4/5 — Pleasant version, but *2022-04-26, version 3.9.1* Had a great deal of enjoyment playing this version. However I have noticed that player west is the player to beat if that is possible, west is given the best average of low or appropriate cards, guess that it is designed for that to happen? ### 4/5 — Classic Hearts *2020-07-27, version 3.1* Good app, but has an annoying habit of freezing either mid way through a game or once a game has finished.
